They had a license agreement with her, so a non compete clause does not exist or for them. She still owns her sauce and it probably has a clause in there (if she was smart) to say they cannot distribute the sauce without her sign off. This type of agreement is beneficial for both DG and her. She gets to keep her intellectual property and they get to profit. She gets their operational expertise and financing and they get her influencer platform for free marketing. its a win, win if she knew what she was getting into and how to run a business. She did not so they ended their agreement because she is not worth the issues she is bringing to their table. If she was smart, she would have gotten a business manager or a consultant to help her with marketing and then had DG to start a whole line of season packets, and sauces. This is what they do; They are "Shark Tank" for the small business owners in the food industry. They help the small business owner upscale and distribute to the masses. She needs friends and mentors that have real businesses that could have advised her to not mess up the biggest opportunity that will never present itself to her again. SMDH at her.

I doubt they're giving her anything outside what's in the agreement at this point. If the advances they sent her have been paid back Dave's would still owe her the agreed percentage of sales. Dave's lawyers have probably told them to continue sending her whatever money is contractually owed to make certain she has no case if she ever gets money to sue. This is why the Dave's sauce is in the dollar store now, they want to get rid of it as soon as possible so they don't have to send her another check and just be done.
