Durability of these shoes... I'm not 100% convinced how long the fabric will last giving you need to stretch them to put them on. Another point is - how easily you could keep white model looking clean and shiny, giving their knitted surface? And final point - I have an impression (maybe incorrect....) that you have to have your sizing just spot on - as there is very little margin allowed by fabric stretch, no tongue to wrap your feet. Overall - great shoes for pros who could get a new pair every 6 or 12 months from the team sponsor 😀

The fabric has been very good. Easy to clean for me. You have to try it on for the sizing. I choose half a size smaller than my standard cycling shoes due to the elastic nature of the shoes.

We haven't had any issues with the knit construction, it's soft yet pretty durable. Cleaning is also as easy as wiping the dirt away. However white shoes are always harder to keep clean but if you're consistent about wiping them weekly you can keep them white.

Well, the point is not how fancy the shoe looks. The important thing is it if fits your foot!

Why not both? The DMT shoes look sharp and are still one of my favorite as the knit material expands with your feet.

I enjoy your videos good content…. Regarding the sizing down it seems for foot length 27.4-28 size 44 should be fine. Why you had to size down.

Thanks! I'm not sure why the DMT sizing is different but the EUR 43 feels just as comfortable as my EUR 44 Shimano / Bont shoes. If you can, I'd recommend trying a pair locally or ordering from somewhere with a return policy.

How durable are the bolts? I bought S-works torch, it threaded after changing cleats.

I am still using the same shoes 2 years later and a few cleat swaps later, so I think they are holding up well. As a general precaution you want to make sure you hand thread any bike related bolts slowly to avoid cross threading or stripping anything - the torque limit on most things is low enough you could easily break things.

hello😄 from your opinion, what shoes should i get? bont vapor 2023 or dmt krsl since dmt krsl is the same as kr0. compare the comfort, durability and performance. thankyouu

That's a tough one. For me, I really like the Bont Vaypor 2023 shoes as far as fit / comfort - they are anatomical and easy to put on and take off. However, the DMR KR0 shoes look a lot sleeker and are also comfortable with their knit construction. I don't think you'd be disappointed with either shoe - but beware that I've found DMT shoe sizing to be one full size smaller than Bont.

I don't think I can really feel a difference between the stiffness - both are comfortable with great power transfer. If you're able to try either in person, I'd recommend picking the shoe that fits your foot shape the best.@@nwzck7870

Thanks! I saw that you said that you also use Bont wide, but I'm still curious how they compare to Lake CX332 wide. I would like the KR0 for the knit construction instead of the more bulky Lake, but I'm worried about the width of them. I know that people say that KR0 are quite flexible, even though the width is quite a lot narrower than CX332 wide. I had a pair of S-Phyre 902 in normal width that were too narrow. My question is really if you have any experience with comparing KR0 to Lake CX332 in terms of width? 😀

Great question. I haven't used the Lake CX332 so I can't really make a direction comparison. However, I have had the S-PHYRE RC902s in normal width that were comfortable for me, so it sounds like you have wider feet then me. The KR0s are comfortable for me, but you do have to be careful with their sizing (EUR 44 in Shimano but EUR 43 in DMT). I'm actually currently reviewing the S-PHYRE RC903 in EUR44 wide and I have to say they are amazing - tons of room and stiff. You may want to consider going the S-PHYRE or Bont wide route.

I'm also considering the 903 wide but the KR0 look so darn comfortable :) I tried a pair of Fizik Infinito and Decos and the knitting is so nice, they're just too narrow for my feet. I've had a couple of Vaypor in wide and I simply prefer the CX332. Are you going to be posting a video of your review of the 903?

@@Knud451 have you tried the Shimano and Fizik shoes in wide yet? That might make a positive difference for you. DMT don’t yet have a wide version of their high end shoes.

I went with the same size as my Northwave shoes (46). Tried 45,5 but my toes touched the front and i dont like that.

DMT's shoe sizing is quite odd so I don't recommend just buying your normal version. I had to size down from EUR 44 (Shimano / Bont / FLR) to a EUR 43 to get the proper fit in DMT shoes. For Northwave I typically wear a EUR 43.5 but it sounds like you may need a slightly larger DMT shoe.

I have the KR3 (blue) which are slightly too big (47) but are mega comfy (46 are too tight on the top of foot without tightening the boa) I am torn between trying the KR0 (coral or black) or the KRSL (grey or black). Will I see a big difference to the KR3? Are the SLs the future?

Yes, there is a big difference between the KR3 and the KR0s. I found the KR3s knitted uppers and single dial are too loose and don't provide enough support. The KR0s have more structure and adjustability with the dual dial setup. I haven't tried the KR3SLs, but I don't see the benefit of going to a lace up shoe when a BOA dial is so convenient.

How do you find the toe box? Is it wide enough? Any pain wearing it more than a few hours ride?

I would say its similar to Shimano shoes, and with the knit construction the shoes can also expand. I actually wear Bont EUR 44 wide shoes normally, but these EUR 43 DMT shoes are equally comfortable even after ~7 hour rides.

@@TheSweetCyclists thanks for the experience. I gonna order 41.5 Grey colour. I had the KR1, also 41.5, fit well, but on the right foot after 4-5 hours riding, it may hurt. With time it got better.

Yup, DMT shoes are usually beautiful but rarely affordable. The nice thing about higher-end shoes is that they do last a long time and have replaceable toe/heel bumpers so you should be able to enjoy them for years.

It's expensive, but not that much more than Specialized S-Works ($425) shoes. As with any premium cycling shoes - they don't make financial sense as they are only ~5-10% better but cost double what a $250 carbon soled shoe can provide.

@@TheSweetCyclists Yep the sworks are also on the expensive side, though you can get them on sale a little over 300 but I would stay in the 200-300 range. They just need to improve some of their models like the Torch 3 which is a great shoe with cheapo, trashy BOA,. It can be upgraded but really make no sense.
