Regarding the location of Ophir: There were clues in the bible: King Solomon built new ships to go to Ophir. Each round trip took 3 years to the far east, not middle east. Ophir was among the islandS (plural), north of the mountains of fire (147 volcanoes northeast of the spice islands (Malaysia & Indonesia). It's just south of the land of the rising sun (Japan or the Orient). It is located just east of the Garden of Eden at the end of the earth. Enoch's journey with Archangel Raphael describes the exact location. Check out the books of Enoch. Also, there were more clues: the island is rich with gold, silver, delium (pearls?), marble (onyx stones), ivory, peacocks, monkeys. There's only one archipelago in the far east that fits all the clues. Which country in the far east is rich with gold and pearls ???
