One day I'll give a vertical tank a go. It must be nice not having to worry so much about things growing too tall too fast 🤣 Your creepers keep you busy though!

Oh I can’t wait for you to do one. I really like your videos! The creeepers be creeping! 😅 I’m definitely going to put more thought into slower growing plants on my next big bio active build that’s for sure!

@@alternateaquaticsYou've got plans for a new project! Interesting! Looking forward to what you come up with. I made the same mistake with some types of ivy in my first ever build. The crabs loved it but it was a mess pretty fast. Especially once it got rooted!

@IndoorEcosystem oh yes many plans hahaha luckily for me the vampire crab set up I’m planning will be well thought out. I’ll be referencing all your videos so I won’t have to make rookie mistakes!

@@alternateaquatics Let me know if you get stuck with something There's a good chance I've come across the same issue 😅 Mind you you've got way more experience with vertical tanks so I'll be getting tips from you at some stage!!

To answer your question fine sir, yes, as an empath, I do abstract a small amount of satisfaction knowing these gorgeous dendrobatidaes are being satiated, also watching those amazing amphibians snatch out of, quite frankly 'mid-air' those flying little 'winos' seeking the fermentations of aging fruit, the entire experience leaves me flustered and pondering God neva' more.

Thanks for this video! I am currently trying to select the second round of plants for my Chameleon's huge vivarium and vids like these give me an idea of which plants will do well where! Definitely think I need a few Nerve plants for some color!

Hey thanks! Really glad it could help! I know I was pretty lost getting started. You should definitely look into some strong vining plants. They’ll love those. what kind of chameleon are ya gonna get?

@@alternateaquatics I upgraded my Veiled into a 4ftx2ft×4ft that I built myself, completely bioactive. It's my first time doing something so BIG so it's a learning experience! I currently have 10 plant species in there... 1) Creeping Charlie on the back walls (it's already going nuts!) 2) A couple different Wandering Jew vines 3) Umbrella Plant 4) A couple little monstera 5) 4 peace lillies of various sizes 6) A prayer plant 7) Pothos (tried and true) 8) A weeping fig ficus 9) a bunch of mosses 10) A rubber-tree pepperomia Believe it or not I could cram in a few more to fill in some empty space. It's been really cool to see how they all adapt! Def checking out the rest of your channel too!

How are your ranitomeyas doing with a deep water feature? I have 3 in mine and constantly check the water just to make sure none jumped in and drowned.

I’ve had them for over a year they’re mating in there now and I’ve never seen a single frog drowned. But there are lots of vines etc going in and out of the water so they can easily climb out
