Not only was this documentary so good, but 2 years later, Khan comes back from the military service and helps coach the Korean team at the Asian Games 2023 to victory, and is recognized by Zeus during his recognition as MVP. Truly an unsung hero of League's careers.

Man, never thought I would cry over a League of Legends video neither one about esports, that I don't watch. This really is one of the best league videos, for me this is a movie, even better than some out there. Starting off with a perfect intro, giving some information, praising Khan and then ending with something poetic so that people would want to know the rest, like can we just take a moment to appreciate the editing, his calm voice and the selection of songs too, like it really adds up perfectly, I was literally reaching for air as the history goes. Also from what happened to him when he moved to China, all the teams he passed through, to his impact on the game in general, he really deserved to win worlds. It all started to get me here 50:00 the fact that he choose over all champions on league the one that started it all for his last game it's truly poetic. 52:49 the way you can see him leaving and the other team going to get the trophie really feels like a bullet to the heart. 53:12 The evil editing got me, I was truly shocked and couldn't believe it, but something about their voices and posture just felt off. And that Instagram post was my ending, even in a moment that was really hard for him he kept with a smile on his face and thought about everyone, told everyone to take care of his brothers and even tried to make the last interview a happy moment. Khan really is a rare person, he is someone worth of giving all the love and affection. 55:36 Something about your voice, the videos and pictures at this part feels really sad but inspiring and heartwarming, actually the entirety of this video feels like this but just get stronger. "Make your hometown proud" :( Sorry for the big text and my poor English but Khan's story combined with your amazing editing and calming voice touched my heart. Thanks for the incredible video Gbay99 you just got a new fan. I watched it twice btw. And if for some reason Khan reads this I just want to tell you that eventhough and unfortunately you couldn't win Worlds you won everyone's heart and respect... and lastly I wish you happiness

This was such a great documentary! Here some comments: - I just wanted to quickly look into it but watched the whole thing - screw 2017 ardent meta, still mad about Riot leaving the item in the game in the state it was - Khan is freaking cool - I remember slow paced, controlled League and it was super boring back in the day - videos like this really spark my interest for the game and the pro-scene. I wish Riot would make documentaries like this - I´ll probably go play league, get told to get cancer in my 2nd game and go back to watching videos.

We still have slow paced controlled league gameplay overall ; its a meta shift that turns out at the end of season 3 since the game back then was constant fighting without caring too much for objectives or csing . Probably in your elo its just a junk fiesta but the game feels completely different once you hit masters .

I gotta say, as seemingly the only League of Legends documentarian in the game, I'm so appreciative of the effort you keep putting into these videos. LoL has so many stories that deserve to be told, to be remembered; I'm just really glad this community has someone able to step up and do them justice. another banger 10/10 i cried

44:45 I think this was one of your best edits Gbay. The text highlighting 2020 China. So simple, nothing flashy, the audience just following the story you're laying out where all the events happen on KZfaq or Twitch streams, and then the real life implications of Covid get slammed in our faces. It made me audibly go "Oh shit" because I forgot that this even happened during Khan's career as I was following the story. That moment combined with the retirement countdown hit me hard.

Gbay man, this is truly a masterpiece. I,ve been following you since 2016 (i think) and every video you amaze me even more ,to a point that I'm not sure if you can get better. Its true, you are so so talented... And then you post this piece of art... Stunning, filled with amazing story telling, great arc in the naration, perfectly edited and spot on soundtrack. Un-freaking-beleivable... I was invested in this doc without even knowing Khan or what he had done and at the end, i had shivers when he lost. You truly are one of the great documentarist in this world (no, not the youtube world. in the whole world). Thank you for all you are doing! You are amazing

Wow, what a great doc. Wish I knew all this going into 2021 worlds. Would of made me root for him a lot more. It's weird how when you watch the esport it's just a entertaining thing to do and it's fun to spam memes in chat when people die etc. It's nothing really serious at all, yet to these players it's the peak of their lives and it means everything to them. I wish more players had a face to them so it would make following the esport more emotional. I truly think riot should hire someone like you to do these player documentaries full time as hype pieces leading into MSI and Worlds. Imagine if league officially posted these docs carefully uploaded at the exact right time. It would boost viewership and viewership retention I bet. But what do I know, I'm just a random >>

I've had this in my watch later for a little bit now and I'm kicking myself for not watching it sooner. Another fantastically put together video! Your content is some of the most well-made on KZfaq I swear. This was a beautiful tribute to a player I knew nothing about, and I really think you did him justice man. Got tears in my eyes during that little montage of all the fun he had near the ending. It's simply so refreshing to see someone who just loves having fun, it really reminds me of a much simpler time before the "Min-Max" way of play. Again, I absolutely love your content, and really my only complaint is that you can't make your videos fast enough! I'm constantly checking your channel to see if you've uploaded anything recently. Again, huge fan here... I think one of these days someone should make a video like this about you. Thank you once again, hope your wrist is treating you okay, and I can't wait to see what comes next.

This is one of the best sports documentaries I have ever seen. It felt so emotional for Khan by the end. I wish I had known this story when it was actually happening. Gbay, you are one of the best storyteller’s we have in the scene. I dont know if it’s a goal of yours, but it baffles me that you aren’t hired by someone (riot or some other third party media) to make this type of content around players regularly. Loved the documentary and I can’t wait to see what you do next!

Awesome video man, seriously, and what a story, thanks for this, the thing I liked the most is that beyond lol skills Khan has such a good character that spreads so much positivity, he even saves you from feeling bad for him for not winning his last world finals because he just accepted it and moved on. A true champion, not only in lol but also in life.

This was an amazing documentary. It has filled in so many missing pieces of league history for me as I started playing in 2017 and although I followed the esports scene, my main focus was EU and NA. When G2 dominated in 2019 I was so happy for them. It is great to get some of the other side of all these stories and to see just how special Khan was. Great work.
