Old Irelia's E is one of the best Mind game kit. Damage her more than intended then you give her the ability to stun. With her ability to sustain and her passive tenacity she's so much fun to play with but annoying to play against. New Irelia puts the dancer in her blade dancer title. E is still a core skill but it's not so easy to hit with but what's more difficult to hit with is her R. The projectile animation itself is delayed with its hit box. But of course having the chance to do your combo with the new irelia always leave you elated.

So stupid Faker doesn't have to do military service. I'm sure a lot would love to not have to do that. But he's probably South Korea's biggest draw and income. Besides the Kpop trafficers. Man that place is in shambles right now.

I know this comment is a bit late, but here's a little more info about the team...even before Shkreli founded Odyssey Gaming in 2015, I was a part of the pre-team before they competed in the 2015 challenger series. I was put into a game with him and he added me and asked if I wanted to play for him as he was putting together an esports team. I became the ADC/Mid before Steeelback took my place after I had a motorcycle accident. Back then, we scrimmed Team 8 when GoldenGlue was their midlaner. Martin used to play in the scrims and eventually found players so that he didn't have to play, but could watch us play as he managed it.

this is such a powerful video, as someone who joined early S5 - mid S5 it made me realise just how little i understood about the game at the time of what made the teams great and what made khan such an incredible player it's sad to understand that i've treated him too harshly for never "winning" internationally (due to a lack of understand in the game) as if he always choked when in reality alot of those cases weren't even as bad as i remember them to be) it makes you wonder just how much them getting unceremoneously swept by Samsung galaxy due to ardent meta had something to do with this years long negative bias towards him SKT's crazy reputation about "always winning", him joining them and then not winning probably didn't help this bias either i'm glad i watched this video

For long-time Dota players, it hurt and sucked what he did to the community when he joined Riot. But in the end, he REALLY was the man behind the MOBA genre that we know of today. Eul established the foundation, IceFrog introduced balance, but this guy introduced all the other macro shit that we have to deal with in the game.

"some people call it a casual game" you mean dota players call it casual game, i will say striping inecessary mechanics is fine i think the best example is Chess the game is amazingly simple yet it has massive depth and while many have tried to make it more complex no one has succed, because the more bloat you add the more you play vs the game instead of the enemy player. another example is yu gi oh the game is massively bloated now is like you play vs the game and luck rather than your oponent, but a game like hearthstone is 100 times more simple than yugioh yet when i played it i could feel i was having a exchange with my oponent i had to think what he planing preddict his plays and sometimes i could know when i had lost 5-10 turns before the actual end of the game even if i was in an advantageous position, because i knew perfectly the game and what my oponent and my options were the answers he had left his threats and my own answers and threats left

Dang it. I want so many of these pros to have their happy ending. They deserve it. I want to see Khan come back with Deft and Pawn*, bring Madlife and inSec back, and win a world championship together. Then LoL will officially be complete. *I think Pawn already got his trophy, but I can't think of a Mid with a similar caliber and story, and he's bros with Deft.

I love how many great stories are behind these teams and these games. The finals is SSW getting their own redemption as the former "first" team, while ending SSB's cinderella story, and over on the other side of the team getting snuffed out we have Royal with Uzi and inSec, two legends in their own right getting stopped in their tracks. Great series!
