3 points: 1) S Hersh says he can speak freely in the US, the country he loves. 2) he is lucky he is not in Julian Assange or the other 8 whistleblowers imprisoned by Obama. His insights into the thought process of the American leadership is very valuable & potentially give other nations, namely China, the data point to respond rationally instead of hysterically like the US. US domestic politics is self-destructing which is posing an unprecedented danger to the world & China can either respond with the normal knee-jerk defensive antagonism or respond with bigger picture magnanimity taking the entire world's well-being to heart.

Seymour Hersh is a great journalist and human being. No one has everything right on, and many issues have alternate, plausible explanations. Sort of. He did a great job on the Nord Stream II destruction expose, and all his other disclosures have promoted freedom of speech and democracy. But Russia had no choice but to take the upper hand in Ukraine as the alternate to certain destruction/marginalization.

You can't invite someone like Seymour Hersh for 30 mn chrono interview, cutting his developments and so on, cgtn should make sure to give adequate time for this kind of prime interviews.

She's a GREAT interviewer. Trying REALLY HARD to keep his waffle to the facts, the questions, the geopolitical issues. He's quite amazing at *not answering her questions* . Long winding paths to no real answer, eg the "how did you check your sources" question. Never got to the issue. Wouldn't even defend his own methodology.

It's easy to pushed responsibility to proxy actors, after all are cost in the American tax payers, financial contribution to Ukraine war .
