17:55 is a brake chamber... part of the air brake system that's used on commercial trucks and buses. It contains a large metal spring that's kept partially compressed, and actuates the parking and emergency brakes on the vehicle. The system adds air to that can to further compress the spring to release the brakes, and evacuating the air from the chamber sets the parking brakes. Loss of too much pressure across the entire air system also causes the chamber to be evacuated of air, which sets the spring brakes, arresting the vehicle's momentum in an instant and bringing it to a stop in the event of an emergency. If you're planning on taking that to the scrap yard, I strongly advise first having a professional disarm it by cutting it open and removing the spring. DO NOT REMOVE THE SPRING YOURSELF, THOUGH. That thing's permanently under enough tension that if you don't know what you're doing and try to open it up the wrong way, it can and will injure or kill you while violently decompressing

The base at 20:45 (ish) is for various cola signs. My dad has a bunch of them, the stepped base is exactly the same as some he had. They would go outside old drug stores for signs to sell cola. Very heavy, so the wind wouldn't blow them down.

12:31 is an old electric heater, 19:32 is a piece of horse harness, and you scored at 20:54, that is a cast iron coca-cola sign base...if it were to clean up well, it is a $200 - $300 base to a collector. They were used for Coca-Cola "lollipop signs" or Coca-Cola Policeman signs.

Also 15:26 that think looks like a modern "torpedo" or "missile" type electric pump. It's just a pump but the diameter is very small so you don't need a large well to pump the water.

the "bomb" at 15:15 is a water well pump. 16:17 is the male end of a moveable irrigation pipe and 17:20 is the female end. The hook on top of the male end latches onto the ridge at the top of the female end (the wide part is the base) to hold them together The small whole at the top of the pipe (where there was the LASCO plug) is where you would put a riser with an impulse sprinkler of which there would be several along the length of each section. They come in 20-40' lengths that connect together and can be moved around a field. If you've seen a field with a line of "spigots" at one end, that is this type of irritation system. you can move a line of pipes from spigot to spigot and irrigate a whole field for a low cost of equipment. 18:10 that is an air brake chamber from a semi-truck.

10:25 is probably a log hook, used to help pull logs or even large chunks of ice. Handy to keep a grip on slippery items or just need to pull stuff without worrying about having to untie large amount of straps or ropes.

to be fair alot of that junk just falls off vehicles or out of trailers, wrenches and stuff get left on tailgates and just happen to fall off at the bridge, farm equipment bouncing and colliding with the road surface to break pieces off, some of that stuff is definitely dumped though

It's also possible that some of that stuff could be lost in car accidents or floods. We've all probably seen videos of whole houses being lost to a raging flood before. You never know how far some the stuff inside will travel or where.

18:09 is a brake chamber for air brakes on a 18 wheeler. there's a very big and strong spring in them that can hurt or kill someone. Be very careful with it or any you pull up in the future. e>specially if they look old and damaged or rusty.

This. The spring is intentionally kept heavily compressed, and has enough stored potential energy to cause at best a broken bone and at worst death once it's freed if the chamber is not disarmed correctly

Pure aluminum isn't magnetic. Some aluminum allows can be depending on if any ferrous alloying agents were used. Besides the wrench was already on the bridge when they arrived and based on the usage stated by @alexandria8255, I would bet that it is made of a non-ferrous aluminum alloy.@@RangerRon75

One piece of metal you said looks like a kickstand that goes to a telephone pole. You screwed into a telephone pole and you use it as a step. Lyman used to have them in the telephone polls that so they can climb the telephone polls to work on them.

If you find guns or other weapons you should really stay where you are (they’ll want to know exactly where you found it)and call police to turn them in. It’s possible they could be missing weapons from unsolved cases. It’s not uncommon for criminals to throw evidence into bodies of water. Keeping these things or just taking them away to a scrap yard can end up causing a murder (usually) or other violent crimes to never be solved. Especially ones like that rifle. It’s not too corroded and could still be identified. Also if you think something might be a bomb, stop moving it and call someone.

18:06 is a BOMB. Not literally, but it pretty much meets the criteria. It's actually a piece for drum brakes on older semi trucks. It houses a big spring, and if that housing breaks, it will go through your chest with ease.

This is so much better than most magnet fishing channels. The other magnet fishermen tend to over-dramatize everything, adding dramatic music & intense facial expressions. They find an iphone and get excited, like a water-soaked phone is some lost Aztec treasure. If they find a gun, the day is done. They sh** their pants and call the police. An 8 minute video is 2 minutes of showing their discoveries & 6 minutes of BS. You've got it going on though ... constantly pulling up something and showing us. Oh yeah. Toward the end, the camshaft? Close. It's a crankshaft out of a 4 cylinder engine.

The “satellite dish” looks like an old reflector for an electric heater. They screwed in like a lightbulb, but they had nichrome wire wrapped in a circle around a ceramic insulator and glowed red hot.

Or steel cased commie rounds. Most cartridges have been made with brass cases but there has been a lot of former Eastern Bloc ammo imported over the last 40 or so years. It has steel cases rather than brass. Typically old and surplus when it hit the US shores decades ago and not the best quality. Someone may have been pissed of because of many misfires and chucked the remainder into the creek out of frustration.

At 16:13 and 17:22 these look like the male and female connections of some kind of pipe. the part you called a handle should latch onto the one with a scoop on the end. At 22:00 that is an engine crankshaft . I have a big pond in NC if you are ever near the speedway.

Those pipes you were finding are irrigation pipes. The end with the hook slides into the funnel shaped end and the hook holds them together while under pressure from the water. At the middle of the pipe is usually a small pipe with a sprinkler on top

I’ve seen hooks like that one you pulled up “10:00” for scaffolding rope like hooked on the top of the building to hold a scaffold up so window washers can clean windows on buildings or do façade work etc. But then again, I could be wrong. I guess you could really use that for anything lol

Those metal things were irrigation pipe ends. Used to change sprinklers in a couple orchards and hay fields as a kid. No risers. 17:15 Aluminum pipe.

At 17:17 it goes on metal water pipes. It's the end peice for vintage sprinkler systems. we use them on our ranch.

17:27 That is the female end of a 3" aluminum sprinkler pipe (for irrigating fields) that is typically 30' long and multiple hooked together. The previous one was the male end with the hook. The one at 18:30 is another female end and you can see the 3/4" or 1" pipe fitting for the riser that would have the sprinkler.

18:07 is a brake chamber for a semi. DO NOT try to take it apart! It will hurt you big time. 19:27 is a point for a pneumatic drill usually used for busting up concrete. 19:35 looks like a part of the harness for work horses. 22:03 crankshaft.

17:20 this pipe end and the previous one are for irrigation/field sprinklers. The one without the 'fan' slots into the side with the fan. The holes in top would have smaller pipes sticking out with sprinkler heads.

@12:33. Could be an electric space heater. The element mounts in the center, and the dish is the reflector. They're usually aluminum (not magnetic) but that might be a steel stamping.

4:15 looks like one of the legs to an antique claw foot bathtub! EDIT! Nope! Most likely a leg to an old barrel or coal stove. Claw foot tubs typically had 3 smaller carriage bolts holding them on. Stoves had one large bolt that often held one corner of the stove panels together by going through the stove and then a large corner bracket was attached on the inside. I've a stove made of 1/2" plate steel from Sweden with beautiful murals on the sides that originally was shipped flat. I was told the stove was made in the late 1920's by the older gentleman I bought it from in 1971. He also went up in the attic and gave me the original shipping crate it was in! (Said he kept it because it was almost as ornate as the wood stove itself). And it is! has lovely scenes of Reindeer and a cabin burnt into the wood with what I assume is the name of the stove company, I sealed the wood with 3 coats of Linseed Oil then put the crate together including the steel bands that went around it in three places and use that to store old newspapers in.

the weird pipes are movable irrigation pipes. the first one with the handle part is the junction of two segments. the other has the extra lip for draining the pipe before relocating it without the water cutting into the field.

18:07 It's a spring loaded parking brake from a semi. Be careful around these things. They contain a powerful spring under tension. If the housing breaks, you don't want to be in the way of that spring or you'll have a very bad day.

21:53-your close! you pulled up an old crankshaft for a car. the crankshaft and camshafts are very similar except ones just bigger than the other. the crankshafts job in a combustion engine is to push the pistons up and down while the camshafts job is to push down on the valves located above the pistons to let different things in and out of the engine, both of these parts are the major components of the 4 stroke combustion engine, or as we mechanics like to call it, suck, squeeze, bang, blow. one of these valves lets in a mixture of air and fuel in the first stage(suck) when the piston is down which is then squeezed together when the piston moves up in the second stage(squeeze) which is then ignited by a component between the valves known as a spark plug which explodes and pushes the piston back down in the third stage(bang) and finally the piston is moved back up once more to push out the carbon dioxide gasses out through the other valve.

19:32 The leather part with the large eye loops in it looks like a Yoke for a draft horse or mule to hook up to a plow or other implement.. The large metal eye hooks are what holds the leads or reigns in place along the animals front shoulders then run to the back where the plowman would be trodding along behind the critter!

Question why dont you put the magnet in a ziplock bag or shrink-wrap to make it easier to clean up ?

The hook thing is part of a claw hook used on logs, and sometimes for grappling other things that are heavy enough to make it tighten on the object as it’s lifted.
