Finishing tapes are simply pre-cut strips of Poly-Fiber fabric. These tapes are used to cover cemented or sewn seams, or to provide an extra layer of cloth over areas that need reinforcement. For full application instructions download our manual below:

Great job guys, you make that look easy! I just had to re-sew the Poly-Fiber on my Super Cruiser wing rib after losing an inspection plate which allowed wind to beat up the fabric and nylon thread. I hope the new strip of pinking holds to the old paint (scuffed it up good, so I’m hoping it will). It was relatively easy, but I wasn’t anywhere close to as fast and efficient as you all! Lol… Look forward to the day when I do a complete recover.

Great video! I just did my 1946 J-3C Cub with Poly Tone. 😁👍🏼 Still got to do my fuselage. Starting on it in a couple weeks. I wished I had some good help like that. 🤣👍🏼

Consolidated Aircraft Coatings I got videos on my KZfaq channel. I just got the last coat of silver sprayed on the left wing yesterday. Both wings in silver. Fixing to start spraying the tail feathers then start on my Fuselage. I made a update video yesterday but haven’t gotten it uploaded yet.

Ah... I've watched many covering videos and I was wondering why would you not put a strip of tape down before you sew the fabric to the spar for a double layer under the thread then a strip of tape to finish up as in video ? Thanks for the video and it looks like you've done this before ( lol ).

How do you eliminate the air trapped under the tapes by the rib stitching?

Great video, looks like your doing a very professional job, but why don't you use filtered mask when brushing, this chemicals are very dangerous to breath......
