After a long wait and paying a pretty penny, my 911 Dakar was finally delivered about 8 months ago. When Porsche revealed they were producing these cars, it was a no brainer to get one. After a long winter and seeing its fair amount of snow, we finally found the time to take this thing to the desert.
The off-road supercar segment is one of my favorite things manufacturers have ever done. In the last few years we have been blessed with the likes of an off-road Porsche 911 as well as an off-road variant of a Huracan in the form of the Lamborghini Sterrato.
With the opportunity to own both cars, it has been extremely fun to make a comparison between the two in terms of capability, fun factor, and overall value.
Needless to say, they both hold up, but the Dakar is the clear winner when it comes to capability.

This is my favorite car I love the 911 dakar in the Rothmans colors. I saw you out at sand hollow in it either stuck or parked by lions back.

this is going to be a dumb question but how do you get those drone shots? are you controlling it while driving or have it on a "follow" feature? or someone else not on film doing it?

I wish I would have been able to see it running around up on the hill and not just pulling it out at the bottom. As well as it actually does you guys should take it up to St. Anthony sand dunes in Idaho!!!! They are far bigger, But far smoother. That thing would shine in Devils dune!!!!!! I wonder if a smaller wheel would fit so you could run a tire with more side wall. That way you could air down some and get far more traction.
