You hear the motors winding up when accelerating in electric cars. They should have put that in the game.

@@rchobbyenthusiast2151 in the taycan you can hear the electric motor whirring. Shmee150 has one and you can hear it in some of the videos and he even explains the noise. You can even make the whirring louder or softer depending on the driving mode

I've test driven the taycan multiple times and is super silent, but theres a feature inside of the car that sounds like a space ship.

it is artificial sound produced by external speakers (or internal if you wish to have performance simulation in cockpit). It is government regulation to alert pedestrians of approaching electric vehicle. Other than that electric cars do not produce any noise. (just little whistle like sound if you will). I had Audi Etron for little while.

Definitely a soundfile missing because a Taycan is making noise, each electric car does have a sound. Just listen to the Tesla from Horizon 3 instead or look up footage of a real taycan turbo S, this is just weird.

You can play an automated sound in the real car and the acceleration in this car is out of this world even for the regular taycan turbo as it takes off like a jet

@@arvins.7064 no they don’t because after one launch on the Tesla plaid it loses energy to launch at the same acceleration but the Porsche taycan turbo s is so BEASTLY that it can launch at the same acceleration no matter how many times

Something that i realized in FH5 is that they took out the countdown at the start of the races. Like you can just go when you get into the race

The car audio could definitely change, though. There were already some audio issues reported to the devs (like the 350 and another car (a BMW?) having their audio mixed up.

fax, even at low speeds you can still hear some humming of the electric motor in pretty much every all electric car, literally impossible to be silent like the way it is in the game

The Porsche Taycan is definitely the best EV out there for its performance. They always know what they’re doing even if it doesn’t have the range you’re looking for. I absolutely love Porsche and am a huge fan.

@@noname-md6pw how so? The fact it’s all electric? You’re most likely unaware that Porsche made certain it’s still got the same performance as it’s lineage. It’s even the reason they took their time before releasing it on the market.

some of the older NFS games, (Like NFS 3) some modded cars glitched out and would not have the engine sounds. It sounded exactly like this. Just gravel , tyres screeching and crashing into things sounds.

Trev, some cars can turn to sport mode, it changes the suspension and more, the AMG is one of the cars.

Its limited to 171 right now due to tire availability during Covid. Once Goodyear gets the new Eagle tires out, they'll turn it up to 205mph.

Didn't think I would be mad about an electric car sounding bad, but come on. I've heard Taycan's in real life and they have this pretty cool electric whining sound when they give full acceleration. I kinda wanna hear that when driving. The complete silence would drive me insane.

You can definitely hear the sound of the motors whiring sound. Even when you're on the highway you can hear wind noise and friction from the tires on the road. This is just messed up sounds.

hey Trevor there is a car with a feature called race mode where it lowers the suspension, wing and other things to improve performance and stability in races when you hold the left joystick and you should check it out!

Would have honestly prefered they used the safety electric car sound over complete silence I've seen a taycan go past me irl, it makes a very specific futuristic sound, that's the one I want in the game instead,maybe letting you switch between the 2 with the left stick

I’ve driven a few of these Porsche tycan cars because I’m a valet driver. And I have to say it is my favorite electric car. The ones I’ve driven had the artificial motor sounds on and it sounds like a spaceship. I love it. Tesla are usually dead silent. Not my favorite EV

The real car does have sound. It’s no air cooled turbocharged Porsche. But the electronic sport sound is pretty cool.
