I stumbled on to Cooper Flagg well over a year ago. At the time I was trying to find any and all video of Kwame Evans who had just committed to Oregon. Cooper Flagg was Evans' teammate at Montverde and only a sophomore. Yet, I found he was the one doing most of the playmaking. Flagg was amazing. That said, I'm not ready to put him on the fast track toward being one of the top 10 of all time where you do whatever it takes to get him.

Well we have the coach to tank for Flagg but certainly wouldn’t be bad to find a trade for Ayton, Grant and Ant just to be sure. Scoot, Shaedon, Clingan, Deni and Flagg would be a sick core to roll into the future with. Agreed. They don't know. Flagg is worth tanking for, even if its not a buck that we get him. Trade Grant, Ant and Aydon for as many picks we can get, and load up in next years draft. My goal would be to secure 3 lottery picks in next year's pick. The draft is loaded with building blocks we can use, but Flagg is the hopes. I'm a fan, and I can say that I'd have fun watching the blazers tank. I wouldn't fret. I'd still go to the games. I'd understand the BIGGER picture. But to say let the chips fall where they may is fair, but manufacturing one of the leagues worst 3 records is all were asking. Fans shouldn’t get their hopes up. Teams don’t really have much control since the draft lottery is a total crapshoot. Even if they lost every game next year they’d still only have like a 14% chance at the #1 pick. Just play the season out and let the chips fall where they may.

We were three worst this year and what happened? The 10-place teams got the number 1 pick. Just sounds like a dumb non-strategy. They are not that good and should be playing to win.
