I was four yachts away to your left!! Hearing those horns, people crying -even the Marshalls were celebrating. What an atmosphere! See you next year!! I find in the years I’ve gone, Best spot to catch a driver is right where you were, by the water taxi drop off and paddock entrance/exit on a Thursday when it’s not too busy yet. They will stop, take pics etc. once the weekend starts they’ll be too busy

EVER CONSIDER THE IMSA RACING? BEST ONE IS THE CANADIAN STOP.. JULY 12 WEEKEND.. CHEVROLET GRAND PRIX… ALL THE GT TO PROTO CLASS!! PADDOCK ACCESS, BRAND CORRALS (POR, BMW, CORV, MIATA) THEY GET 3 LAPS IN THE MORNING. ‘PARADE’ LAPS… ONLY BMW GOT ‘SINGLE LANE LAPS’ 😅 TURN 1, 185KM/H IN MY X1 😅TOPPED AT 220 (BRAKE ZONE LINE UP) (MY X1 IS A WEIRD UNKNOWN GERMAN THING..
