If YOU as a man or a person for that matter is being mistreated, disrespected, or just not taken seriously then you're not showing the woman that you have the potential to walk away! You are treating her as though she is your best option yet letting her disrespect you. So she lacks respect for you. Women want a man with dignity and that is shown by not tolerating things and you having the willingness to walk away if you're values are not met and the same goes vice versa. Watch the video for an explanation. :-)

Honestly the best thing to do is just walk away for good. When a relationship reaches this point, you are negotiating desire. A person that loves you and wants to be with you, doesn't play games and is direct about their feelings. It's better to burn that bridge and don't look back.

Relationships are about power. Plain and simple - and the only way it ever works, is if the man holds most of the power. If the woman feels she can control the man, that he is always there and would never leave her, she will quickly lose respect for him and once that happens, it's only a matter of time until she leaves. Only way to keep this from happening, is to show a woman that you will walk at the first sign of disrespect. You don't need to be spiteful or petty, you don't need to leave her just because she had a bad day - you just remove your attention if she starts taking you for granted. You withdraw from the situation and ignore her until she changes her behaviour. If you let things slide and continue giving her attention when she disrespects you, she will just keep doing it. Not only that, but the disrespect will get worse over time, because she is seeking a boundary to push up against. She wants to know how far she can push you, before you finally push back, and so the best way to minimise the drama is to do it the first time you feel disrespected. If you do it right, she won't do it again any time soon, and she will respect you all the more for it.
@Ace.0.0.0.
@Ace.0.0.0. 3 жыл бұрын
True that. I have been married to the same woman since the mid 90s. You must earn her respect. She cannot love you if she does not respect you. The way to earn her respect is to be polite, honest, & direct. And your actions must align with your words. If they do not, she (and others) will rightly see you as person who cannot be counted on, at best, or as a liar, at worst. Neither is a good look. So men (and others), do yourselves a solid. Raise your standards for yourself. We get what we tolerate. A good woman will make your life easier, not more difficult. Let her know where your boundaries are, and walk if if she chooses to cross them. You can politely say 'no,' and you can politely stand your ground. Kindness is not weakness.

Mike C I agree completely. I, too, had to walk away from an unfaithful wife. She came back later on saying she’s sorry and wanting to return but her actions never lines up with her words. It’s fundamentally changes who I am in some good ways and some bad ways. The good is that I only look at actions that people take and disregard their words. Actions will tell you everything you need to know which is the real truth. The bad is that I have a real hard time trusting people and women (in a romantic sense) now. Definitely One of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

I'm currently quarantined with a wife who wants to divorce me because of how needy of a bitch I've been. My strategy since, has been to hide out in my studio and not let her see my hurt directly. I'm not initiating conversation and I'm limiting my responses to her. I'm reminding myself that the only power she ever had over me is that which I gave her. I'm focusing on creating and expressing through my craft. I'm prepared to lose her if that's what it's gonna be. But yeah, it's been a journey and regaining my sense of self worth Videos like yours are immensely helpful so a million hearts to you, you gorgeous and brilliant woman.

Same here bro. I was with her for 5 years. I eventually appreciated the reality that she was not into me and then moved on. She refused to tell me the truth openly but I was watching her actions. I asked to see her parents and discussed marriage with them, but she refused me seeing her parents. I anticipated that response and I already made my plan to move on. When she said no to me seeing her parents, I called it quit and moved on. She was so manipulative, religious and unfaithful. I wasted time and resources on her but I thank God for opening my eyes and giving me the courage to move on. It was really difficult bro with all the blame games she was into that made me feel like I was the worst human being on earth. I can't remember abusing her once. She has been calling and texting me but I said it is over. For two years now she didn't hear from me. It is over. The painful part is that they don't want you but expect you to be their friends so that they can use you.

Sometimes it's better to end up with nothing, than a bad long term deal that is detrimental to us. Our emotional empathy may prevent us from making healthy choices. It's not our job to fix toxic individuals, nor be their savior. A relationship is not worth saving at the expense of our sanity, wellbeing, and mental health. People in toxic relationships often end up developing a trauma bond as a result of the abuse cycles they have gone through.

Young Scato whoever is being mistreated and taken for granted walking away is appropriate and dignified. Walking away to hurt another’s feelings and using it to exert power over another in an attempt to manipulate might work on the short run but is not healthy relating for long term success. Teenagers learn this tactic quite quickly. I did it all the time to my parents becuz I had no other means to exert my power. I’d take off for nights and they suffered and it felt good To have some power for once becuz they where highly abusive and controlling with me my whole life. It’s all about the motive I think.

I was ghosted by someone I really loved. After a few months got in touch then it happened again, three times in fact. Then she wanted to get back together and get married and have children. After about four months realised I could never trust her from disappearing again and with a really heavy heart ended it. I didn’t realise ending a relationship is just as painful as I’ve never been the one to finish a relationship with someone I love. Been with an amazingly beautiful intelligent kind woman since February. It really is the difference between night and day. The ex tried to get in touch but no way would I even consider going back with her. What a shame it is when people play these games when they have you, then act all heartbroken when they realise they are never getting you back. Very weird experience especially from a 40 year old woman.

I broke up with him. Yet I’m still grieving him, I’m still missing him and I’m still remembering the good memories. Because I walked away when I still liked and cared about him. I walked away when I wanted things to work out but I was in so much pain and I was tired. The good outweighed the bad. And even if the bad could be improved on there was not enough good to make it worthwhile. I tried so hard. I really tried for as much and as long as I could. -I was lowering my expectations -I was forcing myself to be content with what he was giving me but I wasn’t -I had to beg him to make me feel like he actually cared about me -I was seeing inconsistencies in his excuses and his current actions. I had actual proof of the unpleasant things he did but he called me crazy and irrational and told me that what I was seeing wasn’t real. -I had to cling on to his words about me being special and important because in my eyes he didn’t do anything to make me feel like what he said was actually true. His words did not match his actions. -He didn’t like me as much as I liked him he said he only liked me when I was in a certain mood. -I had to accept things that I didn’t want to accept in a relationship. Him staying in contact with his ex was a huge issue for me that i tried so hard to overlook. it was one of my deal breakers -He said he accepted the full package but he literally silenced me over the last time I saw him. He literally said to not make things about me and not let him hear things that are upsetting. -He invalidated my feelings and told me to think a certain way and said that other people had it worse so my problems didn’t matter. - I had to beg him to treat me a certain way to make me feel loved. - And most of all I had to pretend to be someone Im not. I had to put my feelings, problems, issues aside and put on a happy face just for things to go well. -He liked that version of me better than every version he’s ever known. He liked me when I was pretending to be someone Im not or feeling things that I wasn’t really feeling. -I didn’t feel comfortable being myself around him anymore. I had to completely turn into someone else. I LOST MYSELF JUST SO I COULD MAKE HIM HAPPY. I BROKE UP WITH HIM AND WALKED AWAY FROM HIM TO SAVE MYSELF. I STILL CARE AND LIKE HIM SO MUCH BUT I COULDN’T TAKE THE PAIN. It was so toxic

Just simply say, “I don’t think this is gonna work out. I don’t appreciate your toxicity, your flakiness or the way you treat me. Good luck in your search.” You can walk away with no guilt because this forces the other person to look at what they did wrong. They have to look in the mirror. It’ll either force them to own up too their behavior and apologize or they will simply not come back. So what? Let them become some other persons headache.

Hearing this makes me feel sooooo good about my decision to walk away from a emotionally manipulative‘situationship’ I got entangled in a little over a year ago. I never felt more miserable in my life dealing with the said individual. I felt lied to, led on and all the above. Definitely someone who was pulling me down energetically and every way possible. Toxic. Walking away at first was one of the hardest things because each time I tried to in the past, this individual would pull another trick to soak be bk in. My strength was deflected. I was weak, pushed around and literally taken for granted. Walked away and it hurt like hell the first three months. More so because I felt stupid for allowing myself to get played at this age. After tht, each month, became lighter and lighter until the feeling was no more. This confirmation makes me wanna jump for joy. No more!

@Lisa Quaye: I’m currently on the same boat. Wk 2 after she broke up w me. I feel what you were feeling- walked away from a toxic, energy draining, negative person. The hardest part has been forgiving myself. It’s getting easier, but sometimes i go back to feeling pain, but then i feel better. We shall overcome. God bless.

Breakup in a unhealthy relationship or illusions, must be considered as wake up in life. Focussing on our life by walking away during such situation, needs to be considered as bliss received from the universe.

Relationships are the most important thing in our lives, for you to be able to articulate and explain the way you do, is basically explaining life. Not only are you extremely intelligent but an amazing human to do this type of work. You've already helped me so much in a few videos, it's like the information is there but love can make the smartest man make mistakes and do some dumb shit and we don't realise we are doing it. Walking away is the upmost sign of respect a man can show for himself when equal energy isn't being reciprocated.

After two months of no contact, a few texts with no response, being blocked on all social media, I walked away. I sent her stuff back, and sent one last text saying have a good life. I grew in no contact and learned a lot. If she wants anything to do with me she can reach out.

In order to successfully implement this strategy, you've got to have the "IDGAF" mentality. No and, if or butts about it. Just drop your partner, walk away and don't look back. You decide when and if you're going to give your partner a second chance. You are the captain. There are plenty of better fish in the sea. I used this strategy on my ex-gf. Three months after she broke up w me; she wanted to get back with me. I simply told her I've moved on and couldn't be happier.

It comes down to the question, "are you happy with this person"? People split for all kinds of reasons. Cheating is one you without out a doubt should walk from, but alot of other things ain't always deal breakers. All your people may advise that you should end a relationship when you start hitting rough patches but that's something you have to want all on your own. The vows we say to one another are promises, they are saying you will work through life's worst beatings, together. We live in a disposable world, we acquire things and when they start to break down we throw them away and go buy a new one. We don't fix anything anymore, we don't give it the attention that would possibly salvage or fix what's wrong and continue enjoying it for possibly the rest of our life. It's not always so cut and dry but when you have challenges and you hold-fast and fix them, sometimes doing that makes for a more fruitful relationship and isn't that the point? I want to look back and say, we went through hell sometimes but here we are, still fighting the wolves away, together. Are you happy with them ? For better or worse, does being with them make you happy in your heart ? People make mistakes, don't grow up soon enough, get their priorities scrambled, we are human, we come up short sometimes when people depend on us to be a good man or woman. Don't let them walk all over you, but don't walk away at the first signs of trouble either......it's a full time job making a relationship stay together.. sometimes we have to work overtime, but after payday you see a bigger check. Keep swinging......

My girl walked away after me putting 1 year of dedicated effort in building relationship after many issues. It made me put more effort as I thought we could approach it as adults and genuinely work it out. That was a mistake. She lost attraction. Now, after 7 months of me retrying .... I am walking away. I have realized that while I can forgive her in 1 hour.... she couldn't for 1.7 years. I wish her happiness and I hope I can rebuild my career.
