I think the most underrated gk has been Leno this season. Raya's been one of the most talked about keepers in the league but Leno hardly gets a mention bcs he previously played at a big six club

If we're talking about underrated, longevity should not be a valid argument, quite the opposite. Thomas Frank's longevity at Brentford means he's not underrated but highly rated. De Zerbi on the other hand, no one expected him to be successful after Potter left, everyone thought Brighton would face a crisis, but they didn't. And don't forget they also lost Trossard and still they're doing amazing. If you're looking for who's been underrated, it can be only De Zerbi, because he surprised almost everyone. Great topic for this episode though, especially with all the 'overperforming' teams this year.

I think Graham potter would be interesting candidate because he was so good at Brighton and instilled the philosophy that the new manager inherited and seems similar so given an easier task than being given that Chelsea team and pressure that came with it. He needed at least a full season/pre season and to remove some players and chose who to go in and have the time in preseason to train the players with his staff properly rather than when a game is round the corner. I look forward to seeing his next club and how they grow. The villa and Fulham managers are worth a shout but when the normal top teams struggle it's hard to say but great managers adapt and exploit weaknesses after all.

Matheus Nunes at Wolves is a world-class midfielder, probably the smoothest player in the whole prem. Going to be a superstar at a top european side one day, just watch..

RB is Kenny Tete for me. The guy has had an insane season imo and I personally didn't see that coming. I knew about his talent back from his Ajax days, but he's been struggling over the years. So happy for the guy that he's constantly showing what he's capable of this season

mitoma is certainly not underated, everyone knows he is very good with brighton being excellent this season a few i find to be underrated that i adore watching robinson for fulham is absolutely insane hugo bueno for wolves at his age starting, regularly needs to be acknowledged eze is pretty exceptional as far as 10s go with natural 1v1 ability and technical strides that no player in the midfield has in the prem foden. it amazes me that most humans think that he isn't the best in the premier league. he is by quite a distance the best player and the fact city lost so many points without foden for only a month and a half shows how important he is brennan johnson is an exceptional high energy dribbler and he clearly has good intelligence and goalscoring capabilities. definitely getting a big move soon lodi and aurier are both pretty good for maintaining expansive 4 at the back structures so they get respective shouts gnonto is definitely a stretch but for a youngster his size, technique and dribbling are all ideal traits any winger has and italy will need to be sure he is included in their 11 or at least the bench immediately to have a go at retaining the euros ouattara will be insane for the cherries but out of them that just about concludes it

Forest fan. Would have picked MGW because he is genuinely underrated whereas nobody is sleeping on Johnson. McKenna would have been a solid pick and probably one of the hardest cb to beat in the prem, if he wasn't injured all the time. He was our best player last season, probably the best cb in the champ while a lot of other players get all the plaudits. Always in the right position, times interceptions perfectly, one of the prem's strongest players too. So he would have been a solid choice. Ake and Dunk....better players maybe but underrated? Nah everyone rates them. Likewise Nketiah.....he isn't underrated but I don't know who I'd pick instead of him tbh
