I think because people don’t want to look inward. I was molested by my brother, my brother was molested by his uncles and raped too. It’s a horrifying thing that can only stop if people are honest with themselves and are careful of EVERYONE in their lives, not just stranger danger. It’s usually those close to you. Take care of others by taking care of yourself.

@Brîndusa D My mother left me as an infant to be cared by my grandparents of which I'm thankful for, otherwise, I would have endured longer physical abuse at the hands of my mother. She was sick and no one bothered to help but believed her over me, as an innocent child.

True, they helped to let people getaway with this, children do not lie, they don’t know right or wrong, they just are...so when children say things about being touched, they aren’t lying

@Blue Skeptic Except that it was first all these dozens of kids describing TO THEIR PARENTS that they were abused at McMartin, and THEN they spoke with therapists. Law enforcement did not need to coerce anyone (and why in the world would they, what would be their incentive to frame prominent members of the community from a popular daycare?), the victim statements came pouring in to thrm just as a result of a letter asking parents to talk to their kids to see if there was corroborating evidence for the initial accusations.

@Blue Skeptic Like you weren't when you claimed again and again no kid had made any accusations before the therapist got involved, even though that is a bald face lie, and the reality is that the parents first talked to their kids, in response to a law enforcement letter warning them that initial accusations had been made, the subsequent parents heard more accusations coming forth, and THEN had their kids see Kee MacFarlane?

@@patr70 I don't have a problem with it being a hung jury and a mistrial, because rape is difficult to prove, especially in children, and those outcomes under these circumstances is just how the justice system works. But don't pretend he and his mother were found not guilty on every single count, because they weren't. He is free, but he spent five years incarcerated awaiting trial, which strikes me as about average in those days for what he was being accused of. So, if anyone, like me, still has doubts about his innocence, then in a way, everyone wins. And it is still every bit my right to continue calling out all the bullshit about the conspiracy theory around this case that we can all blame the discredited False Memory Syndrome for - Paul and Shirley Eberle, Ralph Underwager, etc. So as long as people spread disinfo on these discussions, I am going to pick their arguments apart. Because time and again, they are always incredibly weak and nothing more than buzzwords, character assassinations of victims, prosecutors and law enforcement that are right out of the scripts of the no-longer-existing FMSF.

@@patr70 Incidentally, I think I figured out his new alias up there in the Pacific Northwest, and he may have possibly been involved in a big illegal grow operation with hundreds of pounds seized, so...not sure how free he is. Maybe he beat those charges, too. Who knows.

The tunnels seemed so ludicrous at the time.. then a guy paid a fortune to excavate the are, where they found a dated disney plastic bag.. the school was built in the 50s, the bag was from 81 or 84. I can't remember because of course, that video has been removed. Ted gunderson i think was his name.

Just saw Ted Gundersons videos on KZfaq last week. I believe it happened 💯. Gunderson was a class act . He went Deeeep 😵‍💫. I binged watched hours and hours of his videos. Illuminati , New World Order, SA ritualistic abuse…. Ted was a True Patriot 🇺🇸✨🇺🇸❤️. So sorry for all the victims out there 🙏🏻✨for you. Holy Hell ! He was an FBI agent.

This is what happened to the original accuser: Johnson was diagnosed with and hospitalized for acute paranoid schizophrenia and in 1986 was found dead in her home from complications of chronic alcoholism before the preliminary hearing concluded.

March 1985 A group of nearly 50 McMartin Preschool parents, led by Bob Currie, arrive at a lot next to the school and begin digging for the "secret underground rooms" they believe were the scene of massive sexual abuse of children. A few days later, an archeological firm hired by the District Attorney's Office begins its own dig. (No evidence of the secret rooms is ever found.)

If there's anything you shouldn't trust, it's conspiracy theories about some evil cult/organisation/group of people permeating systems, schools, politics, institutions etc and reaching epidemic proportions. That sort of scaremongering has recurred throughout history. The SRA panics were just one example. And they won't be the last, unfortunately.

Psychologists need to find another way to find out if a child were molested, by using puppets. That way has been happening since 70s. Maybe even further back. This is what happened to me in the 70s. A Psychologists took me out of my classroom, and to her office. While using plastic hand puppets she asked me "if my father did this, or did that to me," while using the puppets. I told her "NO!!!!!! my Daddy doesn't do anything like that. I want to go back to my classroom." When I got home I told my parents. Who came up to the school. Even at 7, years old I knew what she was trying to do. That was 46, years ago. I am still traumatized by that incident. It is very emotional for me to think, that a strange woman would try to get me to say that my wonderful, and loving father tried to do bad things to me. I never did see that woman again. I believe that there are innocent people that are accused of horrible, sexual abuse towards children. There has to be a better way than using puppets. How I hate, that lady and those puppets. I still remember what I was wearing that day. I still remember how I was sitting on my knees with my elbow on her desk. To remember something like this is heartbreaking. I loved my father. He was a great father and husband. He died when he was 60. I was only 16. My heart is still shattered. I will never be the same person I was, before his death.

This is a really sad tragic story for those kids & the people at that pre School because they led to say those things & the pre School people went through hell even after all this. I know it was a different time & age but I don't see how common sense didn't tell these people these interviews was leading because it wasn't the answer they wanted to hear.

I agree 100% This had nothing to do with common sense! This is equal to the witch hunts in Salem MA. And the past belief that the world is flat. With no proof, this was all about the Media, the Investigators, the District Attorneys, the Psychiatrist and a few of the Parents trying to make money and improve their careers! All the above did more damage to the kids then the school did!

There wasn't evidence beyond a police report; meaning the whole thing should've been dropped after the initial police report was investigated because there wasn't a shred of evidence to substantiate anything. None. Zero. The child psychologist were coached; they would be asked the same question many different ways until finally saying something incriminating. This thing was a complete mess that ruined many innocent lives & wasted several years time & millions in taxpayers $. Imo the child psychologist, the media who ran w/ unfounded stories of abuse & the D. A. should've all been prosecuted.*

Truly Wylde to the best of my knowledge those overzealous investigators in the SRA panics have not been brought to account for what they did or taken responsibility for it. True, in those days questioning of children over alleged molesting was not well understood and now-discredited repeated questioning of kids was standard. And it was ruled by that “believe the children” dogma. Even so, the questioning was definitely leading, suggestive and even coercive.
