The biggest winner in Plinko history, daytime up until the December 25, 2007 show in season 36. Happened on the 30th season premiere. A Barker era record and a record that last six years three months and a day.

Just like the suit he is wearing, he is just timeless. I wasn't sure of the year, but after seeing her belt, the car seat belt with bottle caps.. I knew it was 2001, maybe 1999.. not so timeless. hah.

Right there with you! My older brother and I watched every day - from 11 a.m. til noon - during summer vacations from school! This was back during the late 70’s and throughout the 80’s. Anyway, TPIR is one of my fondest memories of summer. For one hour each day, we actually ‘got along’!

I remember a contestant brought with her, her own homemade Plinko chip for good luck and when she got on stage, she found out that she was going to play Plinko! Her homemade chip was actually bigger than the actual ones. She won a lot of money from playing Plinko, too!

I know they really upped the production budget since Bob Barker retired, I think he figured while he was on the series, if ain't broke plus, the show had different owners before Drew Carey came on.

Grew up hearing these Plinko cues; one of the highlights of the day along with Nick Jr. and Playhouse Disney. I grew up after Y2K just so you know so I'm a 2000s kid.

I always thought everyone should rest the plinko chip on a peg, then gently nudge it. If you hit $10k it would be easy to replicate the same start.

Nope the forces by the end are so finite it is impossible for a human to replicate an exact push exactly the same. People have built these in there homes and practiced for months befor going on the show yet this was still the biggest winner.
