Liechtenstein lies between Switzerland and Austria. With a total surface area of 160 km², it is the sixth-smallest country in the world and has a population of approximately 37,000 people. The head of state is the Reigning Prince. According to the 1921 Constitution, state power is shared between the Prince and the people. The Principality has a stable and highly diversified economy with over 4000 businesses and almost as many jobs as inhabitants. With its restaurants, museums, festivals and sports facilities down in the valley and high up in the mountains, it is has plenty to offer families, food lovers, culture enthusiasts and those simply looking for a little relaxation. Having visited the country twice or three times, personally I think it is a beautiful country, away from the hustle and bustle of other major European countries. Cycling along the Rhine river, crossing die alte Brücke, people being courteous, you have a sense of peacefulness, safety & security. Liechtenstein, du siehst toll aus und ich liebe dich!

i am a traveler from Pakistan. Never knew about this beautiful and gorgeous country before going to Sri Lanka in 2018 and meeting a beautiful gorgeous and shy little girl whom i stayed with one night at a local home. We are friends ever since and im glad to see her place now finally. One day ill have to go there and be her guest haha..cheers

Having traveled extensively through Europe I found Liechtenstein a very breathtaking country with views at each turn on the roads, heart-warming people, food so delicious and a rich history. I have been there twice and hope to return once more to spend more time seeing its countryside and learning more about the history... the history of where my maternal family came from to USA in 1881.

Greetings from the Philippines! 🇵🇭 I absolutely love Liechtenstein! 🇱🇮😍 This is my dream country/destination since I was in college. I said to myself that someday, I will definitely visit the country. I have high hopes that it will come true this 2023. 😂 I still have ample time to save and prepare for my dream vacation. With so many travel videos currently uploaded on KZfaq, there's no way that you should miss this out on your bucket list especially when you're travelling in Europe. A hidden gem as I may say. Watching the videos makes you want to discover the Principality even more. 😍😁 If there's a Liechtensteiner out there who can read this by Aug 2023, I wish I am in Liechtenstein by that time, having a nice chit-chat or exploring the principality with some of the locals.. 😊😁 I am fascinated with the fairytale-like landscapes, the nature, and museums. Feels like I will be at peace If I get to see such amazing views and taking some walk throughout the country. 😍

@@kennethclarkhuelar8810 No problem 😃, if you have any time left I recommend to visit the Czech republic as well. We have many castles and palaces and some of them were owned by house Lichtenstein. For example the Lednice-Valtice cultural landscape.

I had the privilege of visiting beautiful Lichtenstein in 1984 and 2012 but these were both half day visits. I want to go back and have a more comprehensive look around one day.

I am English and have visited my brother-in-Law who lives in Schaan many times. The scenery there is stunning and life is good for most. People are friendly and the place is immaculately clean. Love a trip up to Malbun (in the summer), or just to wander around Vaduz and have a peaceful coffee there. Easy road and rail connections to surrounding Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Italy.

I first heard the name Liechtenstein from a movie, a comedy movie. Then i realized that it was a real place. Googled it, and whoa... You sir are very lucky to live there! Liechtenstein is now in my visit list!

Liechtenstein was my first research project of a country for a geography class in middle school..... Back then, there was no internet, so I had to rely on the old good encyclopedias, I remember it was hard to find information about this little country. In the end, I gathered a lot of information and promised myself to visit it one day.

Planning on visiting there next year. I have always had an interest in the country since I was a kid learning about the countries in Europe. I live in a small state already and think visiting there would almost be like when I first visited where I live now.

I am impressed with the love that the Prince shows to and is reciprocated by the people of Liechtenstein. Very impressed with the country and their Princely family. God has blessed them with a wonderful monarch. I made it as far as Basel Switzerland once. I didnt get a chance to visit but next time hope to get a chance to visit your beautiful country.

Liechtenstein is a double-landlocked country - a country surrounded by landlocked countries (Switzerland and Austria). The only other double-landlocked country in the world is Uzbekistan (Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan).
