im with you on smaller parks feeling better to progress on. Im in Colorado Springs, and there is 1 huge park, but it's all weird/steep and NO flat rail or curb/box, in fact almost no flatground. So, for me, who is a casual skater, it's hard to progress. I found a smaller park with a flat rail and box and some nice banks. And man, I love it. I go in the morning, nobody there. Just put on music and try to a) get more consistent and b) try to learn something new every time. Love your vids dude, been here for years. Dont always comment. But watch most of your videos.

i also made a little list including ollie, ollie over some stuff and ollie over curbs. couldnt do ollie over curbs and higher object parts. its kinda good to have a list

me and my homies took a drive to vandy about a month ago and it was fr the worst experience ever. it was late at night and it was js a bunch of corny “skaters” that would just sit and smoke with their little groups. the people that were actually skating were doing the exact same thing for hours straight and not trying anything new so after a while they were just in the way. it had really really weird vibes and i don’t know how to explain it. we met a few chill locals but we agreed we’d never drive out 40 minutes to that park ever again. there’s also no flat or round rail there so…😭

This is the park I go to most of the time and when it gets packed it feel’s impossible to skate, there’s also a lot kids that play and run in front of you

I went to Vandergriff like 2 weeks ago when I took a visit to texas. Pretty good park but I do a agree with John hills point that u can’t really learn anything new there but I still had a lot of fun

I never want your videos to end, but I'm glad you are uploading so often right now. I think it's incredibly impressive that you were able to get those switch flip/heel manny tricks knocked out in one day. Also, yes...some will look at that park you were at and compare it to their current situation, call you spoiled etc for not liking it...I guess they aren't wrong per say. But then again, when you have an abundance of parks around, you figure out what ones you enjoy yourself more at over others...that's just how it goes. And you happen to enjoy the smaller more simpler parks in your area than the big ones where everything is like try hard mode. In my home town, that's how the only park is. There is a lot of big stuff, that is hard to skate...but the smaller stuff is just terribly bult bs. I think it's a terrible park regardless especially if you're a beginner. parks that have circle flow are usually really good, even if the obstacles are small and few. Where I'm at now in Vegas, there is a good assortment of parks around, but I like the smaller ones..smaller ones are usually less crowded, but when several people show up the space becomes apparent.

You go to all the sickest parks. Around me in my area there’s like, 5 & they’re all within a hour or so away, but the most ghetto parks you’ve ever seen & the most awkwardly built structures.

what a bummer to see you talk abt this park like this. could be possible the vibes are off because a predisposition to not like the people/park. also you should talk about how you personally have trouble with this park and not trashing it and the “vibes”

I’ve never been to vandergriff but I am dying to go bc of the bowl. All my Chisholm friends tell me vandy is not worth it bc the vibes are off. They tell me that the locals there are strange as fiction but not a good way. They say skatepark fights and shootings there happen occasionally. My friend said she was almost kidnapped there too. Idc about all of that I just want to skate that bowl

the craziest trick i did there wasnt a tre flip even tho that was pretty hard it was it near the two stair there are to big slab on slab has a little bank i ollied that entire thing and even crazier i played a guy in game of skate and he did a dog piss of the top over the bank i tried and was on last letter so i just ollied it

I don’t understand. I’m not hating I just don’t understand. You can learn tricks at all skate parks. You talked about you not liking that skatepark because you can’t learn anything new, but then talked about all you can do are the same tricks just on harder obstacles? I don’t get why u can’t just try a new trick you’ve never tried. Your telling me there wasn’t a manny pad you couldn’t try the tricks you tried at the second park at the first park?
