Paul Senior and the guys at Orange County Choppers are making a bike to be auctioned off to raise money for TAPS, a non-profit organisation that provides care and support to families and friends grieving the loss of a member of the armed forces.

This is BY FAR my favorite bike they've ever made. I love CAFE style bikes and it has a proper engine. Not the 45 degree fart box Harley engine. I know this is also a Harley engine... but it's a modern design.

That gas tank is tiny, I'm surprised that it holds enough fuel to get it around the block.

Thats why Buell made the frame on their bikes into the fuel tank. The oil tank was the swingarm. Buell was very innovative. Good thing Harley killed it.

I’m glad the show is back, I really enjoy watching it. They are like part of our family in our house even though I have never met them and they don’t even know we exist. I don’t even like choppers, I just like the show and I’m glad it’s back!

Let me see if I got this right... they bought a pre-built bike with motor(stupid charged)and then Paul Sr slaps a bunch of graffix/paint if you wish to call it that, and this is what we can expect now days from OCC? geeez I think I have an idea for a theme bike....BARRRRFFFFF!!!! We’ll call it the retro-recycler?? (Crickets...Anyone??)

Well...the bike itself was already built...they just dressed it up and added a super charger correct? badass bike but I honestly thought they built the bikes when watching this show from years ago. I still would love to have that bike and I do love grunt style clothing as well...I've never served in the military but still shows I love my Country and again cool looking shirts.

Sometimes when wearing my grunt style shirts at the gym I'll be asked if I ever served and when I say no they just give me an odd look like I am breaking the rules...kind of like wearing a "Hell's Angels" vest when I ride a crotch rocket Suzuki...no I do neither of these 2 but that is the feeling I get...I'll still wear my Grunt Style shirts at the gym and remain happy doing so.

there was a time when I actually believed these guys were proper bike builders. How naive I was! Now just search YT for bike build and you find a few hundreds who make nicer bikes with a fraction of the resources.

That's just how designers think and work. As a designer you start with an idea or vision and build upon that with your client. Usually through rough (not much time and money spend) sketches until you have something the client likes. Then you spend much more time (and money) to finalize that idea. Oh well, you learn every day. (y) ;)

Get back to your original style of building please! Don't use Jason or his computer. Technology has its advantages but the bikes don't have as much of a soul with it.
