大きいサイズも同じやり方なのかな？和蝋燭と洋蝋燭の違いは、和蝋燭の方が炎が大きく明るくなり、風が吹いても消えにくく、蝋垂れも少なく、油煙も少ない

おばあちゃんが山で櫨の実を集めてた👵業者の人が取りに来て渡してたからどうするのか聞いたら､ロウソク作るって教えてくれた🕯 わたしも真似して取ろうと思い夏に山に行ったら櫨の木でかぶれた😢 本当は冬に実を取るらしい

Isobe Candle Shop has been manufacturing handmade Japanese candles in this area for 300 years since the Edo period, using the same materials and techniques. The materials used are 100% wax wax refined from the nuts of the Japanese wax tree, Hazerow, which is indigenous to Japan. The core is made of Japanese paper and "igusa" fiber, the same material used in tatami mats. (1:40 ) At this time, the temperature of the wax is about 45-50 degrees Celsius.(4:11 ) Trim to length. Isobe Candle Shop caught fire in the early morning of January 11, 2011 due to an electrical leak. The store, workshop, residence, and all the candle-making tools that had been handed down from generation to generation were reduced to ashes. The company almost gave up on rebuilding for a while, but on February 11, 2012, a new store was reconstructed and opened on the site of the old store. Many friends extended a helping hand to help revive the long-established, traditional candle store, leading to the opening of the new store in just one year. The new store's workshop is built with glass walls for easy viewing, and there is also a gallery space in the basement.

The characteristics of these candles are low soot, no wax spillage, wind-resistant, hard to extinguish, and complete combustion. Burning time varies depending on the size, but a candle weighing approximately 3.75 g will burn for 30 minutes.

なんとなく和ろうそくは知っていましたが原材料の「櫨蝋（はぜろう）」の事はよくわかっていませんでした。この動画のおかげで和ろうそくについて詳しく知るきっかけになりとても感謝しています！実物を見る事はあまりありませんが、お寺には大きな和ろうそくがあるのかと思うと訪れる時に再確認したいですね。一度途切れるともう同じ手法で作る事が出来なくなってしまうかも知れないのでこれからも作り続けて欲しいです❤

木蝋良いよね。西洋から入ってきた今は一般的な蝋燭と違って聖油由来じゃないから煤が少なくて、日本だけでなく海外の教会や聖堂の燭台用にも使われてるとか。木蝋の原材料は櫨の実から絞った油だそうですが、かつては同じウルシ科の漆の木の実を絞ったり、蜂の巣から取った蜜蝋も使われてたそうで。蜜蝋はなんとなく甘い香りがしそうですが、加工の際に精製された後は無臭になってしまうんだとか。

촛불의 원재로 rou로우 는 밀랍의 랍(wax)을 뜻합니다. 일본 전통초는 검양옻나무에서 추출한 식물성 왁스를 사용합니다. 그렇기에 양봉과 연계되는게 아닌 지역에서 산출되는 왁스농가와 연계됩니다

제가 지식이 부족해서 왜 초를 이렇게 수작업으로 만드는지 이유를 모르겠네요... 각 공정에 어떤 의미가 있는지, 어떠한 역할을 하는지도 알려주었으면 이해할 수 있었을지도 모르지만 이 영상만으로는 왜 수제초가 공장에서 대량으로 만드는 초보다 좋은지를 모르겠습니다

저도 전문가는 아니라 자세히는 모르지만 어딘가에서 들은얘기로는 초를 떠나 제품이 수제냐 대량생산이냐에서 품질관련으로 차이가 생기기도 한다더군요. 물론 다 그런건 아니겠지만 공장생산의 경우 놓치는 품질 부분들이 수제에서는 더 높아진다나봐요 대신에 공장보다는 시간이 걸리고요. 하지만 그걸 떠나서 개인적으론 저런곳에 종사하는분들이 계속해서 자기일을 할 수있도록돼 있는부분이 좋아보이네요
