thanks. Dr. Gupta, as a 51 year old Canadian who hates taking pills it's nice to see that the stigma of cannabis use is being dismantled by the medical professionals. The upsides appear to be far greater than anything the pharmacological companies want us to buy, with far less side effects.

I use it every night for sleep. It’s great. I enjoy getting high, I sleep great and I feel energetic the next day. I’m 70 and run my own business.

Thank you I work in the industry and spend my days educating patients. I first watched you in 2013 on a hospital tv as my son was there because his seizure came back after brain surgery in 2012. Watching Charlotte’s story threw me into research. This is truly a medication when we use it correctly! I am now back in school to be a nurse practitioner that will specialize in cannabis therapy. Please keep spreading the word I am so thankful for you! 😊❤🌱

Excellent. Thank you for this. At 60 with chronic pain, this is something I’ve considered. I spent a lifetime in the military & federal service & couldn’t even consider it. But now retired, in a country where it is legal, I’m going to see if it can help.

I started using cannabis daily when I was 19. Now I’m in my 70s and still vaping cannabis daily. I’m lucky I guess because I’ve never had any problems of any kind because of it.

@@Berley_1234 He has been vaping for over 50 years now- He is in his 70's, Looks like the next 20 should be fine if no current problems. Vaping cannabis is nothing like vaping nicotine. Cannabis does not have any chemicals added.

@@elmosweed4985 sorry to tell you but most cannabis vape cartidges still have carrier oils, and if they have pesticide contamination, guess what, that is also magnified by concentrating it into these vape cartridges ...and yes, they're supposedly tested for pesticides but guess what not all are and not all are honest

@@elmosweed4985 One anecdote proves nothing and can used to argue for the opposite. I've read studies showing that it's just as harmful than nicotine and even more harmful to those exposed to it. The potency is also higher these days. Maybe it works in a medical setting, that has to be looked at more. But to go around promoting it and lying about its side effects is selfish and inaccurate.

In Germany is very difficult and every time you ask a Doctor about medicinally cannabis, legal as medicine and without the opioids type drugs limitation by the way, they will react like you are asking for pure morphine or pure opioids 😢. Or they look at you with complete confusion 😮. It is hard...

Excellent information, and appreciated. Regarding the mental struggles that often occur due to interrupted sleep, folks may want to consider meditation. I began meditating 10 years ago and have relied on it for a variety of reasons. One of these is occasional waking at about 3 AM. The mind usually wants to torment me at these times, but using meditation I am almost always able to calm down and eventually fall back asleep. I consider meditation one of my most valuable tools for dealing with a wide variety of issues and have found it especially valuable the older I get.

Don't hold your breath waiting on the clown show state government. They resisted hemp until feds legalized it and I'll bet some of them are now growing it, because it's a good crop.

One bad thing, for me, is the munchies. I have gained weight since I started smoking regularly. Sleep, pain and anxiety from my cancer, all being reduced from using cannabis are a plus, but I am getting fat!😆

I never got the munchies from smoking weed but once I switched to vaping I get the hardcore munchies. That is the only downside experienced from vaping though.

I am a life long non smoker. So smoking cannabis is not something I will do. I realize cannabis can also be eaten. But that is more expensive. Here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada there are pot stores everywhere.

@McLKeith it's not that expensive for edibles fellow Albertan, CannaCabana and ValueBuds both have great selections of edibles and beverages at great prices. or grow a few plants and harvest them for use in cooking and baking. A Childs Garden of Grass has a great recipe for weed butter in it. Enjoy
