I've watched most of his videos and love his sense of humor. I knew he was gonna throw it, still laughed. Master level Dad humor.

There was a delayed reaction at first and then it hit me and it was hilarious. I'm slow...in fact, so slow I have a twin brother that's a year older than me. What a sense of humor! Love it...like the comment in 5 cut video..."...and I can't afford to take another hit."

William you have really made me smile Thank You. My introduction to you was with the building of the cross cut sled and the 5 cut method of calibration. I am a bit of a perfectionist in a former life I installed CNC machining centers for steel products. So I had a predisposition For accuracy, closer than what is required with wood. However I wanted to achieve .00005 tolerances with my wood working machines. With every inaccurate cut it the tolerance grows. As in your example of the 5 cut method. I saw so impressed with your methodology and your expiation of the math and how to correct errors. You are my hero. Thanks to you my cuts are straight, parallel, and safe. Then you made the Video The proper way to Chuck a bit! A April 1 st video I think. I am thinking have I been doing this incorrectly all this time? I am not a machinist! But I do know that when I chuck a bit with chuck key, I use all three points on the chuck to torque the bit. Then you Chucked the Bit! That was Classic William! Thank you for your videos, Lane

Thank you for bringing this technique to my attention. I, now, realize I have been "improperly" chucking my drill bit for years because I have been chucking my drill bit underhand! I'm trying to use that overhand wrist technique you have demonstrated; apparently, it takes years of practice to develop the skill level you have mastered in "properly" chucking a drill bit. I'll keep practicing. :)

You think you're slow, it took me 5 months to respond. Keep laughing, it's good for the soul and your health. Bob Hope, George Burn and the list goes on. Life's too short to be grumpy.
