This book is a collection of poetic essays in which the prophet Almustafa shares profound and timeless wisdom on various aspects of life, including love, work, freedom, and death, as he prepares to leave the city of Orphalese.
★ This video was made possible by our PATREON members and viewers like you. Thank You!
Summary: "The Prophet" is a book of 26 prose poetry essays written by the Lebanese-American poet and philosopher Kahlil Gibran. The book was first published in 1923 and has since become one of the best-selling books of all time.
In "The Prophet," Gibran addresses a wide range of topics, including love, marriage, children, work, and death. Through the eyes of the prophet Al Mustafa, who is about to depart from the island of Orphalese, Gibran explores the nature of human emotions and relationships and the role they play in our lives.
Throughout the book, Gibran's writing is characterized by its lyrical beauty and spiritual depth. He encourages readers to think deeply about the choices they make and the paths they follow, and to embrace their own unique sense of purpose and meaning.

I sincerely thank you for your content. Some of us are either too busy to buy a book and sit properly to read it or some are too poor to buy too many books. your content makes it easier for us to gain knowledge in an efficient way. Thank you so much. I would also like to thank you for putting subtitles in most of your videos since a lot of people are not native English speakers and a lot of times understanding accents can be extremely hard so thank you. Please keep it up ! :)

Oh, My! I wish I could describe how this affected me. I came across the book very early in Life. I believe I was in.my early 20s. I have my favorite chapters of course , so thru the years I traveled up & down those familiars. I AM currently without my own copy of the book. I've had plenty however this book is one to pass. I feel as if I went home and met myself once more. I AM with 60plus years and AM still growing and learning but I must say the more I soul search who I AM & ehere do I go from here...I find I AM who I have ALWAYS been. This book molded me so. As did others. Such a calm spread thru me A safety of sorts. 'YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH BY THE WAY IT FEELS' I KNEW IMMEDIATELY THIS BOOK WAS MY TRUTH! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! The soul reading to us is as perfect fit. Well done. These words! That word quiver! Just heard it again! 'Quivering on your tenderest branches...' sigh. I needed this connection, in these times. I often say, 'KZfaq knows me better than any human being' wdll how Blessed AM I that this was offered up to me only 4 months since made available! ONE LOVE

Loads of books on the same trajectory happened. Lots of LSD and E and whatever else. Went a bit nuts but came out the other end of it fully subscribing to this book. All in all it's a recipe for life and good vibes for all. Luv and Peace.

I was a young book obsessed 21 year old. I'd already read all the Dune books and loads of the Culture books, after reading Neverness by David Zindell I read The Broken God. That book is like a refection of my spiritual journey and it's troubles and triumphs. The whole Trilogy is really something very special and I'd encourage everyone to read it. Start with Neverness then hit the Brocken God and the whole Requiem for Homo Sapiens. Best sequence ever. Luv and Peace.
