One positive result of living up north is your self esteem rises as you see how debased the locals are .Most do not know anything about the outside world and have all sorts of crazy ideas that are laffable . You feel like a genius and the most sophisticated person in the world .A teacher I had swore people who live in southern Michigan have too join unions and give money to the Catholic Church even if they aren't Catholics .Also real live Jerry Springer with the locals doing all kinds of crazy things. Guys go to family parties to meet women and you hear some wild stories about guys & their sisters when snowed in during the winter.

What is north to you? Harrison? Cadillac? TC? -this is how to know you are truly in Northern Michigan: it involves crossing a big Bridge. Then you will know we only have 2 seasons, winter is here and winter is coming.
