Hi Hannah 👋 - I like the fact that you don't need a car in the city as drivers are getting more & more impatient & impolite each year & I love that you can easily get most daily essentials by walking & particularly in the humid summer be an early riser & shop in peace. You learn how to avoid the chaotic times of day & it's really a great city.

Hi Hannah, I've been to NYC three times and I never get sick of it. There is just so much to see and do and the excitement and the energy of the city is so amazing! I really enjoy your pros and cons it really makes one think, thank you! 👍

New York City does have so much to offer. So true. They say it's the city of dreams and possibilities, but I totally agree with the cons. My Mom (RIP) always says you gotta be practical. I would love to move back to NYC (even though I'm out in Jersey) but gotta work out that budget and making sure all flows. Yes to the crowd control. Even though I was born here, it drives me bananas dealing with them especially when I'm racing with the clock to be somewhere on time. It's like you're in more competition with not just the people for your dream job but dealing with the crowd control (and they don't care). So great Hannah!!! You're the best. Hope you also had an awesome birthday as well!!!

Hi Hannah 😁 Your "pros and cons " are right on ! 🥀 Your advice to " do the math" , for someone moving here should be at the top of their list ! Nothing worse than living pay check to pay check, living in a tiny hell hole apartment, and not having enough dough to enjoy the city🍒 Summer will be here soon and lots of festivals, concerts and anything a person can think of will be happening ! 🌷🐷🥀

Excellent video with the Pros and Cons ideas! There’s nothing like living in NYC in a surrounding tourists & locals, is gonna increase the prices more higher in the future as you know. Not worth it for some people living here, refuse to pay a lot of money in NYC such as taxes, that’s a big headache. In my apartment I only pay $1,800 a month to live in Park Stratton in the Bronx. “Always helps a lot from you! 😉

I realize that living in Chelsea Manhattan or New York City isn't for everyone and the beauty of it is I don't need it to be. I'm originally from Westchester County having commutted from Rye New York to Grand Central Terminal over a 30-year period. I can speak for most of us living here that we love our postage stamp apartments because all of Manhattan is our living room. During the 1980s the black guy now coincidentally live on is the same block I came down to to go to the bars and I was a member of a dance club in the East Village called The Saint. Back then my block was dangerous, deserted and vacant. Now it's all art galleries and many people think New Yorkers are rude what they don't realize is that living and working here is a very different ball game than being a tourist. We're usually on our way to work, going to see friends or need to be somewhere at a certain time for whatever reason. I will come to a person's rescue in a heartbeat and I've been told I can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. So what's mistaken for being rude it's just being matter of fact and straight to the point.
