Thinking about why we make art is incredibly interesting. I took a step back to analyze what I do, why I do it and how I do it. This is a casual session talking about the psychology of my art.

I agree on your process. If music and art/creation was not a way of being, to express our self - i would probably go mad. Vibrations of mind and hart combined is music of itself. Its the universe connecting on a subconscious level - and you are able to hear your feelings. So this way is the only way to exist as a synergistic person- to feel and hear and even see colorful meaning.

Beautifully said. To see colorful meaning resonates with me - music creates a vivid picture of life!

Some heartfelt words there 🙂 I too have been thinking the same and will be getting back into making music soon… can’t wait! I’ll probably jam a bit and get creative then try making some tracks with a few ideas. I have been thinking similar- why do I do this etc and realise it is what I like and it runs in my family, my neice and nephew are young and love music too, I said to their parents they get that from me and their grandad was into making music too, so definitely a family trait… looking forward to showing them all Cubase and synths and what I do. I think everyone musically minded goes through some stage of self doubt in 1 way or another but experience and gaining confidence demolishes this! X

That is great to hear that you are looking forward to getting back into it! Can't not, it's in your blood! What kind of music is your niece and nephew into? I like younger peoples approach to music; they like experimentation! My best friend's daughter always has an open mind about things (she was 11 at the time and now 13 so not sure if that remains the same haha). Are you goin to make the jump to Cubase 13 this summer?

@@ModIcore I’m thinking about it taking the plunge to v13 I might wait for a summer sale and see if I can get an upgrade from 11 cheap. My nephew listens to a lot of pop, my niece is learning to play guitar and knows chords, she can play a song right now. I’m planning a visit to see them once they have moved house… I’ll be getting a guitar song book for my niece so she can learn more songs and for my nephew I’ll be getting him a tambourine. My cousins wife said she might get him a drum kit in the future. My niece is about 10 now and my nephew is 5/6 so they are showing interest in music at a young age, something we are all going to nurture and support them with. I’m thinking when they visit I’ll show them a virtual piano on the pc using a keyboard and see what they think, plus show them my music. I’m glad you didn’t give up on music, look at the support your getting with your videos I think you picked the right time for virus ti videos now there is viper and ostirus. Proper loved bouncing ideas back and forth with you and when the website is up and running I’ll be happy to contribute 🙂

@@psilocinsoundz It is funny how Cubase has remained the same price for so long. I got mine for $400. I probably would have waited for a better deal but kind of wanted everything taken care of and at least I got some discount. Playing guitar is a lot of fun. I definitely wouldn't be able to play any songs on it! Hats off to her. The most I can do it route it to effects and have an inconsistent melody haha. I hope they like playing together as that would be really cool. I think supporting them at a their age is a good idea. Music is so important for their wellbeing and even if they fall out of loving it, they will still take it with them. You have a lot to show them! If I remember correctly, you have a looooot of wavetable patches you created and must be excited to share! They will probably get good ideas from it. I am happy I continued making music too. It is so much fun thinking of an idea and putting it to paper. Sometimes it works exactly as I had in mind which is so surprising! Thanks for your support! I like talking and hearing everyone's ideas. Looking forward to the future!

Another "itate" vid, cool, we always have to reflect. I kept going back & replaying the first 9 mins. Any chance you can remix that track & insert the 303 acid here & there (you know the spots) that it's begging for, please?

I will see what I can do about the 303 and post it for you. Not sure when just yet, but probably in the next two weeks.

Not a prob. 9min was just a guide to that beautiful track at the beginning of the video. Should've just said the Bird headed guy song. I'm just recovering after a 72 hour flu-thing but can still pick a great song when I hear one. My partner happened to be watching during my rewinds & I told her how I started watching your channel because you were a fellow Cubase user & she corrected me & said Cubase Magician, haha. She knows fuck all about Daws but understands what she is looking at & the difference to how I use it. I had to agree & say, that's why I watch....cough, cough, Cya.

@@AA-ge4uj Haha you two are very cute and sweet! Thank you. I do not get the Bird headed guy thing, but hope it isn't related to bird flu! Guessing your last cough medicine dose may have been a large one? Hope you feel better soon as that sounds extra miserable in that heat.

The cartoon you got the sample from? Guy who looks like Egyptian God? Bird head guy. I've cleared the lurgy, now the other player has it, I hope we're not going to play tennis with it, I hate Flu-tennis.

@@AA-ge4uj Ooooooo haha sorry I didn't even know what he looked like. I see now. Glad you cleared it and hope the game ends clean. May feel like you're playing doubles if it doesn't.
