Jeremy Eutis my favorite was "my friend is dying" because the whole series or atleast half of it are them kind of rejecting their relationship that they needed to form in order to take down the people. And how Micro performed it it's just so good. This show is 10/10 And one of the greatest shows of all time. No joke

Just because he considers violence his home doesn’t mean he doesn’t love his family or want them more. I think it means he simply chooses life, since choosing his family here means death.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that this woman didn't once close, cover or avert her eyes at the most hardcore moment of the series. I know grown ass men who would cover thier eyes or run outta the room squealing after seeing some shit like that.

Can we just take a moment to realize the OP meant to deliver a compliment and -- as misguided as it was -- the sentiment was sincere? It wouldn't take y'all too much effort to explain to the OP a better frame of reference without piling on with righteous fury. Y'know, be constructive instead of destructive. Help someone out of a hole instead of yelling at them for being in it.

The scene with Frank and his wife is also shown to show his "happy place" he goes to mentally to be able to "endure" physical torture for longer. It's what they do in real life with some people in the military in case they're captured by the enemy. I liked that they showed that - not many shows would (or would do it as well as TP did). GREAT reaction! Looking forward to seeing your reaction to the finale, it's a doozy!

Kelly Marie but the fact that he said "i am home" shows this is where he now belongs. He wants to be in a war in chaos, i think that's a true representation of the punisher. His home being chaos and life and death on a string

That's what I was about to say - it was a torture-resistance tactic - but also one that he could use to lead himself 'out' with love for her rather than fear of death - if things went that way.

If you think back to Daredevil season 2...the nurse that Karen talked to said when Frank came to after flatlining that he wanted to go home. To me, that says that he relives that same scene with Maria trying to take him with her out of life whenever he is on death's door...and he chooses life each time just to come to instantly regretting the choice and wanting to be back "home" with Maria...which just breaks my heart.

In my honest opinion.. the two best shows on television are breaking bad, and the punisher.. I would out the walking dead on this list.. but with recent episodes I can't..

Despite what some fans of the punisher might have you think this episode is 100% pitch perfect punisher because in most punisher comics that cover the first couple years of Frank's career after the death of his family the main crux of Frank's character arc is that he has to question whether or not he values his family or war more and whether he valued war more yhan family when they were alive.
