Don't forget guys, Russo doesn't know Frank's alive right now. Curtis is the one who knows

The violence is supposed to be offputting here though, in many ways. Frank is an anti-hero, and the show does a great job of showing that. He’s not a villain, but he isn’t someone you necessarily root for, or someone for kids to look up to.

It's because critics wanted to use it as a political piece regarding whatever their views were for gun violence or "toxic masculinity". AND most of these critics were only sent 1-6 episodes to base their SEASON review on. SOME ONLY WATCHED 4 EPISODES! 🙄. The Punisher is about emotional trauma. His character is really supposed to show the empty destruction violence causes and it's cost on the human soul. Glad yal are enjoying it so far.

"If it's set up for him why have an alarm?" From what I understood the timer doesn't give more than a couple hours, at least less than a day. Since he lives underground and obviously can get easily sidetracked by focusing too much on something it'd make sense to have an alarm just in case. Or it might just be to wake him up if he oversleeps. I know for a fact if it where me I'd need a loud alarm for exactly those reasons. Hell, my Alarm clock is a little model train that is literally so loud people have asked if there are train-tracks around my house when they've stayed over or heard it for the first time.

This show is the opposite of anti military... it accurately portrays the plight of veterans across a wide spectrum.

havok6280 well it has anti military elements, especially regarding how the military power can be abused or taken advantage of for personal gain, and the ambiguity of war and blindly following orders. But the show is great at showing a huge spectrum

J. White that’s like saying telling people not to drink and drive is anti car. Questioning how the CIA uses the military or highlighting how certain individuals abuse power is not anti military. None of the characters in the show once questions the military or blames them for their problems. If anything the message of the show is we should better support our troops when they come home. There is no reason Billy should have to fund Curtis’s group. The tax payers should foot the bill.

J. White holding bad doctors accountable isn’t anti medicine. Holding bad cops accountable isn’t anti law . Holding bad soldiers accountable isn’t anti military.
@ragnar97

I'd say it's anti military in the sense it doesn't shy from showing not every conflict is about making things better rather than interests of the people in power. However, it accurately portrays the shit and the strife of some soldiers who have to live with certain things because some people wanted to get their 30 pieces of silver or a promotion.
@havok6280
@havok6280 6 жыл бұрын
RagnarTheRed the show is neutral on the war in Afghanistan. There are bad actors in every war. Showing that isn't anti military. It's just reality. Never once do any of the characters on the show regret their decision to join in the first place. The show never frames the military as bad. But it does show not all soldiers are noble and that the CIA is sometimes up to no good.

You might be overthinking about the alarm. It's an alarm, it wakes micro up if he's sleeping or doing whatever when he's supposed to be keying in the scanner thing.

Hey Normies!!! I have been watching your reactions to my favorite TV shows (GOT, WW). You guys do a great job with them. But I feel like you guys have made up your mind with this show that it's not gonna be great or something. It's clearly evident from the fact that you guys are just being too funny in intense scenes or overly critical of the show's writing rather than just have fun and get into it like you always do. It just spoils the mood. Even Chris was weird. Somehow i don't understand that. Just a honest feedback from a Normie Fan. By the way I have watched all the episode reactions for this series and this kept on going throughout the series. Blindwave was genuinely excited for this show and did a great job with the reactions.

Man I'd hate to be Ebon Moss- Bachrach (Micro) acting with Jon Bernthal's Punisher. The way he grabbed his hair and grabbed the gun and screamed "WHAT IS THAT?!!!!" dude that had me scared of him and i'm only watching the show. It also looks like he was actually slapping Ebon. I may be wrong but Ebon's sounds of pain sounded a lil too real or maybe he's just that good of an actor

What's this show really is, is antigun rights. About halfway in it starts portraying the NRA and gun owners as psychotic monsters.
@vlonewolfv
@vlonewolfv 6 жыл бұрын
It's not anti-gun either. Karen, a main character and someone who we are supposed to love, is pro gun. Her being armed saves her life. The series is showing how complex these topics are. There are great reasons to be a gun owner as well as terrible reasons and how do we decide the difference.
@k-master973
@k-master973 6 жыл бұрын
Laflen Kenway did you actually pay attention to the show? If you did, you’d understand that they’re portraying every side in a neutral fair way. For example, Billy telling that anti-gun senator “are you willing to die for your beliefs?” demonstrating that guns aren’t this dangerous thing serves no purpose, they can save your life. You just need to stop looking at the show in such a biased way, and you’ll realize it’s fair to all sides
