I love this show, one of my personal favorites ever, same with Daredevil. This episode, at least the war parts, was a huge highlight for me, and it was awesome seeing your reaction to it

Once Disney came into power, a lot of changes were made to Marvel. None of those Disney changes were good for Marvel fans. Those changes included making it impossible for Netflix to continue their Marvel series.

Here we go! It's official! Punisher and Micro teaming up! The character Micro was co-created by the award winning writer Mike Baron. FYI: If you ever decide to get into reading Punisher comics - The best run of Marvel's Punisher were Mike Baron's acclaimed 5 year run starting in the 1980's. Mike Baron still writes comics today through BIG STUDIO Comics. Highly recommended.

Nah a hard disagree on that Daredevil is still by far the best Marvel show let's be honest here Punisher season 1 was very good... season 2 ehhh not so much...

Not many agree with me but i think u will agree that this surpasses daredevil when all is said and done. Also leakers are saying punisher is getting his own show in the mcu. No idea how thats gonna work lol

I know they're supposed to do a soft reboot for Disney plus. I'm honestly worried about that because the show was damn near perfect. I love the brutality of Frank Castle and I don't think D+ will do his character proper justice. Ya know?

The only thing that gives me hope that they WILL do him justice is that Jon Bernthal says that Frank like lives in his bones and he would not be interested in playing the character again if it wasn't written in a way that did the character justice. I don't trust D+ to do the right thing by Frank, but I trust Frank in Bernthal's hands completely. He signed up for a reason…it had to have been one hell of a good treatment that he felt confident would do Frank proud.

Nothing D+ has done was ever in the interest of old school Marvel fans. Just look at all the terrible changes Disney did to Frank Castle in the comics and you will see what I mean.

D+ is a streaming service and has nothing to do with the comics. I believe the recent storyline got the greenlight before Perlmutter got the axe anyhow and he was a Marvel lifer...limited series exist to explore story arcs and they aren't always good ones. You gonna blame Disney for Franken-Castle, too? THAT was pre-Disney. Or give them credit for the 2011 issues that led into War Zone? If you want to be mad at ANYONE for them trying out new things with Frank, blame the right wingers who have co-opted his skull and turned it into a symbol of bigotry to many...the cops who put it on their gear...as if Frank Castle and the cops aren't at odds constantly. Even one of the CREATORS of The Punisher character has been vocal about it being downright offensive and it's been addressed BY Frank IN the comics. All of that aside, the comics side and the live action side aren't meant to be viewed through the same lens for good reason. You cannot pre-judge what the live action hand may do based on what the comics side has done...the live action side is more like...really expensive, authorised fanfic where they get to take successful characters and introduce them to new audiences and do things differently than they were done on paper originally. They take the best of the comics material and rework it...I don't think anyone will see that particular storyline on the big or small screen anytime soon...it will live alongside Franken-Castle as the series you don't give to someone just learning about the character.

Disney purchased Marvel early 2009. That is when the Disney changes began. Old School talent that were fans of the source material were being squeezed out of the company if they did not cooperate with these changes. The comic book division is the quickest and easiest to change. TV takes a bit longer to alter due to lengthier pre-production. The MCU movie division by far takes the longest to change, again due to having the most in depth pre-production phase. In fact, Marvel Studios had the ball rolling for the MCU phases 1, 2, and 3 by 1996. *Franken Castle first appeared mid 2010 - well under Disney control. Writer of Franken Castle Rick Remender admits to never having any interest in The Punisher as well as never have read any Punisher comics.* "Years ago, Rick Remender did a Punisher run for Marvel Comics even though he admitted that he never was a fan of him nor did he read any of The Punisher comic books at all. If he wasn’t a fan of The Punisher, then why did he agree to do a Punisher run in the first place?" Article "Franken Castle and New Punisher Fan Art!" -- February 9, 2016 by Owossoharpist Meanwhile, Kevin Feige moved his way up the Disney ranks in power while his opposition was being removed. Feige currently controls all of Marvel and the direction it takes. This includes Comics, TV, & Movies.

Jessica Jones is my favourite. Dont let the southern foks tell you otherwise. Jessica is the most traumatized (until Punisher) lol. But im not in the army. I relate to the alcoholic more 🤣
