This show should never have been canceled. The perfectly cast actor, wonderful writing, grim gritty look at life, they had a real winner here. This is a show with replay value.

I love the way Frank talks about their son. It's rare to hear Frank talk about how he admires a person, but it seems like he really does respect the son for not becoming corrupted by the wealth and power that he has access to through his parents, and that he instead is wanting to help the world.

It's a shame this series was cancelled. It got the villains down perfectly. Punisher's villains are always shitty people, so shitty that you don't feel bad when they get killed. Even the most likable one's like Baracuda still did things that deservedly got them killed. We don't need to dive too deep into Frank Castle's psychology here, a whole series of him just going after shitty people like he did in MAX would be great. Each season spent killing mobsters and corrupt politicians like these is more than enough. Ennis and the writers here both did greatly at making them interesting in only a few scenes. Every time they're on screen they just exude being shitty people. You don't feel bad for them at all whenever one of them gets snuffed out. You forget for a moment that Castle is just there to kill people, and you can appreciate for a moment that they're being removed from existence.

Look at about the 3 minute mark and after frank says “or you live”. You can see him start scratching his trigger finger, the way this show pays attention to the small details to capture the character that is frank castle is what makes it so good

Small detail: Frank’s trigger finger twitching at the end of the video. He wants the kill for himself, but wants his enemy to live with grief a little longer before they die.

Frank’s finger is just itching to pull the trigger himself. Look at it. Lmao.

My favorite part about this scene is that when Frank tells him that his own child turned against them because he now knows what his parents really are, that's when he truly began to crumble and break down at the fact that his Son was raised by monsters, but still grew up to be an decent and upright young man. And that's the "truth" Frank said he'd live with.

I love how the Anderson thinks he is in charge and giving orders to do what he says then Frank comes in and puts the fear of god in him.

this TV show is more like Therapy for all of us whose had a pretty sucky day, we get to get revenge on people in our real lives through the fantasy world of the Punisher and his antagonists. It's one of those shows that literally make us feel better after watching it!

I really wish the whole season was about this part of the story.

Some say this is the perfect character for Jon Bernthal. I say this is the perfect actor for Frank Castle.

The acting in this scene is spectacular.

This scene reminds me of a deleted scene from the 2004 movie with Thomas Jane, where Frank confronts his best friend Jimmy who betrayed him and ultimately led to his family being murdered, in the end Frank gives Jimmy a gun and a single bullet, and watches as his former best friend kill himself. Edit: the scene was added again in the extended cut.
