A cool scenario for a Punisher season 3 would of been during the blip period where The Punisher teams up with Hawkeye when he was Ronin to go after the Gnucci crime family since they are the leading crime mafia in New York since the blip happened and since Fisk went to jail. Right after they both take out the Gnucci crime family they can both go their separate ways and a post end credit scene can lead to Frank Castle meeting Nick Fury after the blip period setting up a season 4 of The Punisher

In a recent interview, Jon mentioned that he would MOST DEFINITELY come back as Frank if given the chance, but with an additional rule: Do not fuck the character up. Because in a PG-13 setting, a character like the Punisher simply would not work unless toned down dramatically, in which would basically ruin the character altogether.

I don't recall him saying anything about it. Besides he didn't work on aos and that show is canon which the show alluded the netflix shows. They were always in the Mcu, they were promoted as such.

Vague? They were pretty explicit with referencing the alien invasion from the avengers. The raft and sokovia are also mentioned. Not to mention them alluded to or outright namedropping avengers. The Judas bullet from luke cage was featured in aos. Creel and the dogs of hell biker gang from aos appears or is mentioned in daredevil. Roxxon appears in daredevil and is mentioned in iron fist. The company that was featured or referenced in the iron man trilogy,aos,agent carter,cloak-and-dagger,and the runaways. Luke cage is connected to cloak-and-dagger.

Did you even read what i said? There's plenty. Avengers were alluded or outright namedropped. Captain America is even namedropped in daredevil,Jessica jones, luke cage. The raft from civil war is mentioned in Jessica jones. Sokovia is mentioned in iron fist. Not to mention that elements from aos being in the shows and the judas bullet from luke cage being in aos, a show that we know is in the Mcu makes them being in the mcu. You can even go on the mcu wiki and it will tell alot of the references to the larger verse.

I hate how it ended here, where the Punisher truly became the Punisher. The whole time it’s been mangled with cops and stuff, I just want some all out punisher action taking down criminal organizations. It’s a strange idea that seems to be because he has his own show, and they need more characters, whereas in Daredevil, the Punisher could be a lone soldier without a whole cast around him. That’s why I think Daredevil nailed the character better than his own show even did

It was because the Punisher was technically a villain in Daredevil. They were able to un-filter him for that since you weren't really supposed to root for him all the time. I think the Punisher definitely works best as a recurring character that's in opposition to the main heroes.

Marvel Studios recently confirmed an R-rated Punisher movie in early development but it's unclear whether Jon Berthnal is reprising the role or not Heck, with the multiverse concept in the MCU they could bring Thomas Jane back but then THAT wouldn't make any sense sense this show is supposedly set in the MCU itself

Just finished the second Season and i don't know what the F were they thinking to cancel this series. I absolutely loved Jon Bernthal's potrayal of The Punisher. Can't imanige anyone else fitting the role as much as Bernthal did.

@@ScreenMasterMCU it’s up for debate, it’s not really clear whether the Netflix shows are canon, considering Cotton Mouth is The Daywalker now, it’s less likely

@@elderrusty541 Not really, the shows were established as MCU since the beggining, reconfirmed on and off screen by many people including Kevin Feige, Jeph Loeb and official accounts, and to the date no one ever said otherwise.

I never watched The Punisher because I learned it was canceled and I hate unfinished shows, but after having seen every possible sequences available on youtube, I truly regret it. I love this ending !

While I didn't love season 2 as much as season one, Bernthal makes a great punisher like Charlie Cox makes a great DD. Shame they killed the netflix stuff, I'd love to see them brought back into the MCU.
