Self love is important….. but sacrifices are demand of situation…. I saw my mom sacrificing her choices for us. I was a bad kid then.. stealing money n all.. but her love was not bounded by expectations… she tolerated me for 5 long years… we belong to small town.. bt now when she sees that I do not attend a single party without her..weather it’s pub or club.. I take her with me.. she can’t understand and speak English.. she can’t dress in one piece.. still I choose her above all my frndz… I can not forget how sad she used to get after my tantrums…. Now I listen to all her tantrums smiling… our is beautiful family with lil imperfections..

The thought of re-living those moments, simple ones, is great. Taking care of yourself, having a dinner, is all lovely. But sometimes to even decide that, takes long time. The lady when she comes and ask her for a trial despite saying no. These are all emotions beautifully portrayed.

Self love is important and much needed. Mothers often sacrifice themselves for their children especially single moms. However, hardly a mother in such dire circumstances would indulge herself when her children are yet small, struggling and in need of basic necessities. Can not fathom this at all!

I don't think your mum or any Asian's mum would spread her legs to any man to make a living to feed her family. I have seen many really poor people in rural South India who get food from the temple, free accommodation provided by villagers (though with very limited modern amenities inside) and clothes as well. There is a lot of community spirit in rural south unlike the westernized shit posting comments here.

She is a single mother and faced so many troubles during cherishing her child. Salute to those ladies who stand up for themselves and take responsibility for their own. She should have taken her children with her and had fun with them and shopping for them also. She even forgot to buy for her children. She was even looking towards the gentlemen and was quite attracted to him.

wtf, I have been earning a good salary and have all the priviledges in life alhumdulilAh, I cannot be more grateful to Allah. Nonetheless, I am left alone with no one, my mom passed away, so did my dad, my fiance... No extended family. Siblings are busy in their own crap just feeding off of what my parents left behind. They don't care about anything but their chaapri pun. I have the cash but I don't know whom to spend it on. Nothing makes me happy. I have tried all the new age, it's nothing. The happiness I used to get from buying my mom a scoop of ice cream...no self love and shopping on my own self can compare to it. She would have felt a lot happier had she gone out to the restaurant and to shopping with her family. There is nothing more precious than family. I have lost all my strength and struggle to go by a day without my parents. There's no one to live for, nothing to look forward to, nothing. How I wish things were a bit different.

I don't know is it worth to share this or not I totally relate with this after a decent financial status my whole family is going through the toughest time my dad tried best to clear all the loss and now we are in poor state and always punishing and saying bad words when our needs not fulfil and vice versa I'm the eldest daughter and papa expects a lot from me and I'm too young but too strong at a very young age coz I don't have any option tho and always looking for opportunities so that one day my dad and my little sister can fulfil all the wishes and my mumma always supports me at my lowest phase and when I'll become successful I'll remember this series too that this is so relatable that time 💕❣️

You are partly correct... But what is the assurance that the investment will be fruitful. As she said in the play that all her profits went in paying the employees of the factory. She couldn't save anything in the business. She believes in salary based job rather than investment based business.

Many people here argued that as a mother she should gave sacrificed her wishes in front of her children but fir that the children should also be deserving Her both sons never valued her sscrifices and instead dema ded luxuries without even working for it Women as mother often overlook themselves to care for their family just to listen "aapne kiya hi kya hai ?"😢😢😢😢 So they deserve to live for themselves ❤❤❤❤

As a honest person, l never over pamper myself. First, one should pay udhar, not go for dikhawa wali life. As a mother of 3 kids, you slip a sales person's buttering, it's really not acceptable. You should be responsible.

It horrifies me to know, how we have begun to think self carer means "me first", when "me too " could have been way better i have a very sacrificing mom, who did so much for family and me and my sibling and now that we are grown up, i did not chase my dreams but hers and shes proud of me and it feels so "FULfilling" to live as a unit. Individualism is a great choice too, but it does not mean, it is the only right way to live. Try living for your family and life feels so much bigger, atleast it did for me. 🥰🤩

We ?? This short film is about self love... Self love is a small phase.. a break people take from years of sacrifice... It's a healing process... In that phase, there's no rule like "first" or "too"... Children should stop glorifying sacrifice that ruins their parents' life... Excess of sacrifice is not a good thing...
