In the third episode of Sixty RGB, we're going to take a look at the versions I played as a kid, who played these versions as a substitute for MAME, which I couldn't wrap my head around back then

Unbeknownst to me when Galaga was 1st released in arcades when I was 12 years old, it would be the beginning of my love for shooters (shmups). Great video, thanks!

I've always found myself coming back to Galaga in some fashion, especially through the Classic Collection version for the arcades and PS2, such a good remake!

I feel like everyone who experienced Galaga did so in such a specific formative way. I played it in a pizza place I think and no other version of that game hit the same as that specific arcade cabinet. It wasn't until later that I realized that it was a modded version of the game with faster bullets and that game play stuck with me forever... Galaga is just special like that!

THE FIRST VERSION OF GALAGA YOU PLAYED WAS THE EXACT SAME ONE AS ME ON THAT WEIRD-ASS PLUG N PLAY did you ever play "mappy" on that thing? It was my favourite and i was so cracked

I know it is different from the arcade in many ways but I honestly prefer the NES version. Its just endlessly fun.

Yeah I can see why haha Like I said, if it wasn't for the crackly sound, it'd be one of my favourite versions of the game
