I do shitty 16 star speed runs and I can’t figure out Why clint would go for “swimming beast in the cavern” in HMC when he can just grab “emergency exit” and “rolling rocks”. Is doing the triple jump box trick faster than going for rolling rocks? I never knew that.

Swimming beast in the cavern is faster than rolling rocks, if you triple jump over off the block instead of the elevator clip. Emergency exit is the fastest star in HMC, and rolling rocks is the slowest of the 3 stars runners generally use in 16 star runs, but it's a great backup star.

Some Jeep Guy thanks! I didn’t know that! I use the slower elevator clip which is why I associate it with not being in 16 star runs when you collect the reds in BitDW. But makes sense that it is faster with the triple jump off the box and good movement.
