Incredible Umbrella set of an incredible Silat-heavy film (the one which Iko Uwais, Joe Taslim, and Yayan Ruhian were becoming household names for today’s martial arts cinema and Hollywood), but the retail price is killing me at this point.

I ordered the less expensive version from Umbrella - hope it arrives soon … on a positive note they told me the Blu was from the new color timing which I don’t believe was the case from the previous 4K package.

Mine should be here monday 🤞🤞🤞 I will be rewatching all of Iko Uwais' films when it arrives. Are you keeping your kimchidvd release? That release is a grail for me so will never sell it, though would sell the pair if I found the one click for a decent price 😆 This set is stunning! Can't wait to read the book and comic.

I like the idea of including the graphic novel in theory but it seems like an awfully small format size to read a comic in. Also, the grade for the 4K is really something else. It's reivionist but goddamnit who cares, it looks so much nicer.

The book size is fine, yes indeed small compared to a US comic or graphic novel but it’s about the same size as a bunch of manga books I have.
