I made it inside Area 51, but no one at the gates saw me. I made it out with some goodies and saw an ayy, but had to escape without said ayy. Turnout at the gates was less than anticipated, but many made friends along the way. I see this as an absolute win.

I watched this at work so at least I got paid to waste 40 minutes of my time.

The base has all kinds of sensors and cameras so they know when anyone approaches on the road. If you cross into the base they will arrest you for trespassing. The men in the truck that followed you were contract people whose job is to keep people off the base.

Although I wasn't able to be in part of the Area 51 Raid, I would have died trying if I did it. If people did a Yolo Run, then we're sure that the people who tried to raid were able to make it, as well as cutting some wire, but also be heavily armed with weapons and armor.

alright, I’m like 4 years late but here goes. (I was bored) Machine guns alone could stop all of them. The push up Normandy beach during Operation Overlord lasted 3 and a half hours, and the United States, on Omaha beach alone, took TEN THOUSAND CASUALTIES. That was only coastal artillery and MG42 fire. In a desert, where the defenders have the high ground, and it’s a 10 mile stretch to the base, and a massive pack of people running towards the machine gun, it’s hard to miss anyone. Plus, Operation Overlord was over 80 years ago. Today we have things like the A-10 warthog, AC130 gunship, cruise missiles, and Area 51 is an Air Force base, so it wouldn’t be so unlikely they wouldn’t use those. We also can’t forget that many would immediately haul ass and retreat at the first crack of gunfire. Many also just wouldn’t go, as the penalty for raiding a military base would land you in federal prison (example of this is the Jan 6th capitol riot, of which people are still being prosecuted for till this day. In conclusion, no matter how fast you run, or how many you bring, yes they could stop all of you.
