I work in a garage , not a body shop. But we do a lot alignments for some body shops. Some of the cars that come in are finished except for the wheel alignment. Some cars are still so far out that the only thing we can do is set the wheel toe. When cars are hit , they are never the same. insurance co. dont give a rats ass, they just want it to look pretty again.

Or you could have used the scissor jack with the base cut narrow with a cut off in the trunk of the car for free.........

The hss or ultra hd is Extremely difficult to do anything with. The new word is replace Not repair. Much to the chagrin of the old Body Man . That's how we made our living. By Fixing shit! Nowadays Body men are R&I guys. Spend1/2 a day taking shit apart for the paint crew. Them another 3/4 of a day or more (because of the Aftermarket Crap you have to make work. So the Vehicle Owner will be satisfied, and the estimator in the office will be Satisfied, And the Owner or manager will be satisfied and the F*ing Insurance company will be satisfied. Fucking Ehh,! Is it any wonder I quit after 40+years,? Like being married, can't live with, can't live without!🙊🙈🙉🇺🇸

Frame rails are designed with crush zone , this is the Mickey mouse way to repair. You still have to weld on new frame bumper horns, might as well go ahead and replace the section that needs to be welded anyway and do it right the first time so you don't compromise your customer safety. Total hack job, it's unfortunate that many shop do this kind of inadequate at work so it's cheaper for them with no regards to do in a quality job
