The fact that this seed even exists is beyond astronomically low if we consider the fact that there is only hypothetically 36x36x36x36x36x36x36x36 or around 2.82 trillion seeds possible. the odds of some background code causing something like this to line up like this seem more than likely.

Haelian recently had a perfect lucky cat run - all cards being face cards, all face cards played twice, oops all sixes (double probabilities) and lucky cat. All cards being lucky. So sometimes they would trigger the lucky effect twice, there was a combat where the cat got more than a full 1x mult upgrade from it

Aren't there more permutations of potential cards in this random deck than there are permutations of the seed? So there might not be a seed for a "every card is ______" for every card. Edit: Yeah ofc my intuition was right because it's not even close. There are way less seeds than possible decks with erratic. The difference is so dramatic it's kinda unbelievable there is any seed like that at all.

There's a chance that 10 is the last number in the code range, and spades was the last included suit. And like a blank rubics cube being fully solved when you buy it, when setting the standard for randomization it started with this as the base range series where all others stem from since they would be the last in their range of card type. I don't really know that much about computer programming but this makes logical sense to me.

There are a few times where he discards steel jacks. Steel jacks should always be better than +0.5 mult for hit the road jack. Consider how x*1.5*1.5 is greater than x*2. This math gets worse as hit the road jack gets higher.

There are 52^52 deck generations, including effective duplicates, and only 36^8 seeds. So about 0% of decks have a seed (actual percentage is 0.304e-77%, but that's almost the same as 0%) the chances of this deck being in that tiny amount of decks possible with a seed is basically nil. What's actually happening is this seed breaks the RNG value into becoming NAN, and NAN for some reason spits out a 10 of spades. It's a rare fluke, but there are likely a few dozen seeds that do this, each will generate a full deck of 10 of spades. This is technically a bug, and this seed in the future may show it's true deck if that bug is fixed.

Please add the seed # to the description so we can try this out!

Wouldn’t it have been way better to instead of building jacks just building steel cards? The jacks gave 0.5x for each discarded, but steels were 1.5x. Granted you had the joker copied, but I feel like you may have been able to find a better joker set

The odds of this seed occurring can be calculated by the odds of no deck being a case of every card matching (1/(52 cards ^ 52 cards) * 52 card types = 1/(52^51) for any deck Then the odds of this deck type not occurring at all in the seed list can be calculated with (1-1/(52^51)) ^ (seed # = 36^8) So the odds of there being at least one seed with a mono-card type deck is 1-(1-1/(52^51))^(36^8) = 8.595*10^-74 % odds of occurring. This pretty much has to be a forced seed.

You should do a personal challenge on this seed to convert the whole deck to a full normal deck

To be fair, the 10 and 4 joker made your score at the start from 3360 in the first round to 9360 or around 2.7x more score, so I dunno (tho yeah, the specificity isn't great)

Actually, I like to get any negative. If they do good for the build its awesome, and if they don't, it's a safety against the boss blind that disables all jokers until one is sold.

I haven't played Balatro so I don't know if the plan was to fully transition to Jacks with something else later or if the hit the road getting doubled by the... whatever copies the left most was better than steels.

Different ways of organising a deck, this does not include reoccurring cards, however this is actually 1/52, 52 times for a full deck, i’m too lazy to actually calculate it, but it’s an aboslute miniscule amount that’s so rare that the amount of seeds in this game doesn’t even come close to the chance needed for this to happen, like the amount of seeds in this game is so small compared to the chance of this happening, that it either means that at least 52 seeds exist that have 52 of 1 card, or by some miniscule chance one of the seeds has this deck, which would be absolutely insane, id say the latter is most likely.
