My old rowing coach Roger Drummond had one of the Arrows Cossie Escorts in Tasmania, Australia. He also owned an original Lotus Mk1 Escort with the engine out of an open wheeler race car in it. He had them in his garage stored on a hoist, one on top, one underneath. He passed away and Arrows Cossie was sold on commission for the family by a car dealer here in Hobart. I believe they kept the Mk1 Lotus Escort? I can’t recall. It was about 7 years ago and the Arrows Cossie could have been purchased for around $45-50k AUD back then from memory which is a steal looking back with the benefits of hindsight. It had the livery of the WRC cars. He had only recently spent a load of money on it just before he died. I’ll never forget seeing the two Escorts in his garage, the first and the last hot Escort!!

I remember about 7 years ago the Arrows one here in Australia was up for sale. Was up for ages before it was either sold or removed from sale. From memory it was part of a deceased estate sale. In today’s terms of price I think it was about 30k GBP.

Back until 96, arrows were owned by a Japanese company called footwork. In 96 they became TWR arrows when Tom walkinshaw racing bought them out and changed the branding and logo so this is I'd imagine in homage to the footwork era coming to a close.

Strange this should pop up today! I've literally just been chopping up a Jabroc skid plank from an F1 Footwork Arrows FA17, the successor to the 95 Footwork which bore the same livery as this Escort!

Great video adam, I used to work at brooklyn ford in the mid 90's, those cars would have been done by a guy called Andy Fisher at brooklyn Ford RS at lakeside in Redditch, which is where I worked, they did a few special cars there including the red brooklyn ford RS500 touring car which lived at lakeside and the focus T190 and T230 cars which were done in conjunction with mountune and were featured on top gear in the mid 90's and driven/tested by tiff needell. I think I've even got some brooklyn ford dealership stickers that were put in the rear windows of new cars in that era.

I remember seeing one of these on display at a F1 weekend many years ago. Would have been British G.P. or French cos I only went to them when Hill drove the Arrows. Quite possibly the same car.

I own a rare car I have an original ftx outrage nitro rc car its a really rare rc car now it came out in 2009 and now 12 years later its a rare rc car to find and I've been doing so digging and looking for this rc car and now my luck as finally paid off I brought 1 last week off ebay for £176 and it came in its original box and I'm now the happiest man alive cos I now own one of the most rarest rc car cars on the planet
