i had a sierra ghia hatchback in light metallic green that was a one owner car from new back in 2005 and i went and bought a sierra saff cossie for £1500 and i took both cars down to my mates garage in dagenham (autostops) and told him that i want the engine and running gear out of the cossie to be put in my ghia... my pal done a womderful job in the conversion, i had my fun in it for a year and then sold it to someone in north london

Really nice , I agree with other comments the bonnet vents would look better in white without the clips for me . A bit like the fella that built the lotus Carlton estate

I had the original blue velour interior from this car for my estate. I think Shane even gave it to me for free. He's a top bloke and I'm looking forward to bumping into him again at some point. I love his estate! The next time he needs a break from it I might have to pop the bottom out of my piggy bank.

Yep I remember you came down.in your golf estate that was nearly 7 years ago ,that little garage has gone now and I spent 32 grand doing up the garden and had a massive man cave built to house the sierra 😀

Had a ghia estate when I was younger. Old boy I got it off had it running on twin 40's. Was pushing it through a country road on the way home right into a waiting police speed check. Cop said he heard me coming for miles, but the last thing he imagined was spotting an old sierra! We had a chat and he let me go 😅

My dad used to work at Dagenham ford plant.....he still has a mk1 xr4x4 2.8 that's never been welded.....got a genuine cossie front grill to help with the cooling as they used to overheat ..been off road since 2004 but should be back on road by end of the summer.
