My guess is that he's somewhere east of Alazan Bay near Corpus Christi, but I could be wrong.

You ca n never trust people to go and save the fish, because telling everyone the location is bound to attract some people who just want to catch and harvest the fish, all it takes is one group of people with nets to completely wipe out the fish populations in the local area.

The fish are gonna die sooner or later in those unfortunate conditions however you should consider letting those who have good heart go out and save whats left.

Props to you! It's obvious you love our fishery & are trying to save some from certain death as the ponds dry out. Seems a larger holding tank is needed.. may be a kiddie pool in a pickup bed. I am surprised these fish survived the freeze.

I noticed ponds like this just behind/beside dunes on Mustang Island on a scout outing in 1967. Never occurred to me that there might be fish in them. Darn it!

it’s good to save the fish when you find em and this is a fantastic video but it’s not a tragedy that the shifting tides make and remake these stranded ponds ad infinitum. It’s just nature. Just like the freeze, we humans tend to think we have more control over nature and natural cycles than we actually do. Them ponds is fantastic food for gators, coons, coyotes, bobcats, and ocelots! and birds!

@@nozrep haha we’re actually on the same page here. Fish getting stuck in pockets like this has been happening since life. Nature gon do nature shit 🤷‍♂️ Just thought it’d be good for content . Probably would’ve named the video “SAVING HUNDREDS OF FISH FROM THEIR DEATH 😱😱😱😱” or something silly along those lines 😂

also hopefully it’ll get a real high tide plus extra east southeast winds and that’ll fill em back real nice with bait and what not and/or allow ones to go back out and others to go back in.

Depending on the distance between those cut off ponds and flowing water id be throwing a net and running them over to the water or dumping them in a giant tank, you can get a giant 100-300 gallon water tank pretty cheap, fits in my truck bed and id ferry fish back and fourth.
