Waimea Bay is notorious for its massive waves during the winter months, however in the summer, this break can be a completely different story. At times, Waimea can be as flat as a lake, which often attracts a lot swimmers and tourists.
Watch as the real bay watch crew, the State Beach Lifeguards of Waimea Bay, protect and monitor the bay.

3:00 I teach people to swim exactly in these conditions and these distances. Unfortunately, in India there is little demand for this kind of training. May have to move for work to Waimea Beach! )))

Those guys can save my life any day 🥰😍. I live on the opposite side all the way in Florida and our lifeguard's are highschool and college kids making minimum wage and I admire them so much but I'd be a lot more comfortable if they got paid what they deserve for literally saving lives every day.

I’ve been a lifeguard in Oregon for 5 years in different facilities and currently working out how the hell im gonna get to Hawaii and work the beaches for the rest of my life. Still working out the plan but it’s what I was meant to do and I’ll make it happen no matter what.
