Join us as we explore the HAUNTED farmhouse that inspired the TERRIFYING movie...The Conjuring. We sit down with Andrea Perron, the oldest daughter of the Perron family for a very in-depth interview covering the 10 years her and her family lived at the farmhouse and THEN we go to the farmhouse (THE CONJURING HOUSE) ourselves. We also head to the local cemetery to pay our respects to the supposed with BATHSHEBA.

If I finished moving into a house I bought and the previous owner told me that for the sake of my own family I should leave the lights on at night, I’d definitely be moving out right away😂

I know the previous owners, the Sutcliffes and the family that owned it before the Perrons had it. Both families stated the home is not evil, not is it haunted. I debunked the entire Bathsheba Sherman story that the Warrens made up in the 1970s. It simply is not true. And there were no murders, drownings, or suicides on the property. Most importantly, Bathsheba was NEVER accused of any wrongdoing whatsoever in her lifetime. Those rumors were conjured up during the Satanic Panic of the 1970s.

If there’s one thing Elise taught us from insidious, it’s that you don’t ever call out to the spirits in the “netherworld” as Andrea put it, because of exactly what she said. That medium invited all the entities into the room and it made it worse. Instead of making contact, they should have just focused on cleansing the house. That was a really bad idea.

I just visited the house last week. The blue door closet in the middle bedroom is said to be occupied by a young boy named Henry Richardson. He was the son of the original owners and died when he was 6-8 years old. In the movie, they call him Rory. Our guide told us Henry loves that closet and challenged us to walk through it alone as Henry will move coat hangers, knock on walls, and sometimes touch hair or poke you. He'll also throw toys off of the shelves in the bedroom. He's a prankster and likes to let people know he's around.

Not me ! I'd move in ...in a heartbeat ! First thing it'd do is introduce myself to the house and thank the owns (past dead owners) for allowing me to stay in their house that I'd have bought and be very respectful. Then I'd get a radar detector machine on wheels and surey the whole property including the basement, the barn and all. I've always had the feeling bodies were buried there, esp. in the front and side and back of the house and that they'd made flower gardens in the front of the house esp. to had the fact the ground had been disturbed.

I really feel for the Perrons and anyone else that has to go through this. When I was 2 or 3 years old, before my parents got divorced… my father’s house was haunted. This evil spirit used to play in my closet and come out after me when my parents went to bed. He had the most wicked giggle, he was a full bodied apparition as solid as another person, and I remember he had a big tattoo on his right shoulder. He was big built and tall. To confirm this… many years later my grandmother said she saw that same man standing in living room window when her and my grandfather were checking on me and my mother because my father worked the night shift most nights of the week. I always got scared and terrified of this man until my parents divorced and my mother and I went to go live with my grandparents. This was in the early 1980s and it still haunts me to this day. I can’t imagine what the Perrons went through and how they felt.

Oh lovely I'm Maria from Ireland and I am an absolute avid believer in the afterlife especially when I still remember to this day as if it was only yesterday, I was only 6 years old, at the time a still very young naive little girl, anyways I woke up one morning, I'd say around 3 a.m and I happened to look over at my sister's bed where there was a girl with her hair short, putting her hand through her hair as she was flicking it back off her face, anyway I was terrified because it was a dotted vision but after begging God for about 10 minutes the apparition went , anyways I was left traumatiSed over the situation, a few weeks later the family all got their photos, beautiful photos of me cousin who had died only recently like 5 weeks, prior, Dawn passed away from cancer in her leg and complications somewhere else too bless her, she was my beautiful 16 year old cousin, born in England and the only girl after 2 boys, what was uncanny is, 3 weeks before Dawn died she'd really long long hair, so long it was way past behind her knees so that's why no one thought nothing of who I saw because I never ever saw my cousin with short hair, i last saw Dawn with her hair so long that the length of it was longer than the back of her knees, until she became really sick, proud of you Dawn im so sad the only girl after 2 boys, always missed but always never ever to be forgotten. xxxx

Would be nice to hear from some adults around during this time(if there are any still alive), not at all saying this woman is lying but children very easily can distort events from something like this to the point when they become older they 100% believe their version. I work with children who have experienced trauma, not long ago we had a girl suffering thru being abused and assaulted by her parents when she was younger(5-9 years old). She had every symptom and mannerism of being abused in the way she was, the PTSD and every other qualifier. But in reality none of this actually happen. She was raised by her Grandmother, around the age of 10 or 11 she started asking about her parents and becoming curious, for some reason her Grandmother told her she was living with her b/c her parents were abusive to her and treated her horribly(Grandmother claimed it was an attempt to stop the girls curiosity, how she thought telling her she was abused was better than telling her the truth about her mother abandoning her still baffles me). The girls mother left her baby with her mother when the child was only a few months old and split(never returned). The girl is 16 now and she 100% fully believes she was abused by her parents, she can recall so many horrific details of the abuse. It is completely real to her and even talking about it causes her great distress, she breaks down sometimes and becomes inconsolable, that's how real it is to her(I know some of you might say well maybe she was abused by someone at her Grandmothers and she's merely projecting that abuse to her parents.. that's not what's happening here, we know that to be true for a multitude of reasons I wont get into here). The girl and her Grandmother barely have a relationship now, not b/c her grandma lied about her being abused, but b/c she thinks her grandma is lying now about initially lying about the abuse. You can plant things in children's minds that can dictate their entire adult life and be almost impossible to convince them otherwise even when you present them with facts disproving what they believe to be true, it's actually quite scary how easy it is to plant false narratives/memories into kids' minds. This is also why I totally discount victim lie-detector tests, especially when it centers around abuse allegations. To pass them you don't have to be telling the truth, only that you believe you are telling the truth. Parents who plant abuse allegations in their children against the other parent should be given extremely harsh penalties, it can totally ruin a kids life long term, children who suffer abuse are more likely to harm themselves than children not abused by a 50:1 ratio and kids who believe they were abused fall into that category too.

As a kid and a teenager, I got the feeling my grandparent's house was haunted. There was always something strange going on, especially in the evenings and after everyone went to bed. My maternal great grandmother lived across the street. She told me several times that she didn't like going into my grandparent's house because it scared her. Things were get almost terrifying if there was a thunderstorm because it felt like the house would shake. The house was built in the mid 1800's and was 3 floors plus a dirt floor basement. The house had huge windows so they vibrated. The scariest thing was we all heard glass shattering around the parlor which was the next room from the rear foyer. When we all ran into the parlor, nothing was broken.

I was born in Rhode Island and I can attest that the New England area is extremely haunted. The house I grew up in was an old three story house and we had an entity that would knock on walls and my aunt saw it sitting on the couch in the middle of the night one time. All the houses have really creepy basements and they smell like really old wood as well.

I once lived in a house with a basement like that. Multiple rooms, old stone walls, was creepy as heck! Upon research of the place apparently it was a gangster hangout with multiple deaths, murders and prostitution. Strange things always happened there. I moved out and apparently they were unable to keep renters. A company bought it and demolished it for a parking lot. I guess during demo they found a wallet that had $10,000 in it. All the bills were super old. I still have nightmares about that place.

I’ve lived in two 200 year old homes. I lived in both as a kid and teen. One had a root cellar. Old stone walls, very dark, dirt floor, etc. very much like that. There was a spirit there too. Of the former owner. But she was nice, not evil at all. She used to turn the basement light on all the time though and open the basement door sometimes. We never went down there. But my Mom and I would go out to dinner, come home, the light would be on and the door ajar. One time, she even answered me when I came home from school and called out “hi I’m home” thinking my Mom was there. Heard a voice call out “Hi!” from upstairs. Turned out that the house was actually very empty (of living people anyway 😂) and my Mom was still at work. When I discovered this, I very quietly exited out the back door and went next door to my neighbors 😂

Just found your channel, and love your work, great content. Done with respect and sensitivity, showing the real places. This is interesting in many ways. The surroundings where events happened are important in working out just who the person or people were. Criminology is a fascinating subject, it involves not just the crime, but pulling apart, who, where and with luck why. Sometimes 'walking the path', is a very valuable way to begin a case, retrace an action, walking in the footsteps of intent and or circumstance.

The Conjuring always creeped me out. Knowing it was based (even if loosely based) on the story of a real family just made it so scary. I bought Andrea Perron’s book but I’ve never been able to read it all. My mom lived in a house with her parents when she was kid that was haunted and the whole family experienced different things. My grandparents sold the house and moved due to their experiences. Seeing the real house and hearing stories from Andrea was awesome but even creepier! Great video all around though. That was absolutely FASCINATING! I really appreciated Michael's post production and filming style in the location, it definitely adds an extra depth of perception to the experience. I feel compelled to mention what I felt and think that I heard while watching your documentary. First: When you first walked into the basement, immediately there was a change of vibe despite the basement being well lit and somewhat in order. Before you entered the room with the drawing, I immediately had a feeling that that room at some point in the past, way before the incidents happened, may have being used as a CELL to hold soldiers. (Post analysis: That may have been the reason of Jessica's ill feelings as the energy of pain and sorrow is heavily imbued in the environment) Second: While in the room (CELL?) with the drawing , at time stamp 44:13 at the end of Jessica's sentence ...very constricted in the chest...a soft low (EVP disembodied voice?) answers YEAH, right before you answer "you can feel it". (Post analysis: Although the YEAH could have been part of Michael's sentence "...you can feel it". There is hardly any pause between the word and the sentence that followed) Third: I also got a feeling that the whole in the ground ("Well") was not used for that purpose. (Post Analysis: The whole's energy in the ground feels more like a relief than a provider) Anyway, I am not claiming to be an expert but have had some experience with the paranormal and specifically with EVP's. And also, Feelings can be just feelings. Whether they make sense or not, depending on the circumstance, it is valid to communicate them. With Gratitude and Appreciation for the Work you guys do! Thank You so much for the experience!🙏

I was touring an old house in New England. In a hallway there were nice windows and those window box seats. I asked the tour guide if I could open up the window box, she said they don't open up. I opened the wondow box and there wad a ladder. Long story short it lead downstairs to some rooms that still had very old mats on the floor, old blankets then the tunnel lead out to the river. Crazy kool ! I had just seen like accouple of brief 'pictures' in my head of that window box. I think the spries, the slaves wanted their story told. May they all now rest in peace.

My cousins used to live in a house in Warwick, RI that was haunted. Their youngest daughter would sometimes see the spirit of a little girl. Whenever anyone would lay a baby to sleep in a room, the little girl spirit would come touch the baby and wake it up. It wanted to play with them, at least that’s what the daughter would tell them. My grandfather watched their house for them one time when they were away and he told us the house was really creepy inside when he went to go check on it. Mind you, my grandfather was a very serious person and a war veteran.

It had poltergeist activity which scared the heck out of them. They were Catholic and had the priest out, but it did not help. It gradually got worse. My aunt put the baby in the playpen one day, left the room for a minute, came back and found the baby on the floor with the playpen inverted over the baby. They lasted 3 years in that house, and left. My cousin said it sells often.

I actually love the house, so beautifully built in my opinion. I’m a sucker for old things haha but this is amazing, thanks for the great content! Subscribed :)))

It's very hard to explain these things to those who don't believe in it or have never experienced things like this. I have seen, heard and felt things that give me goosebumps writing this. You truly have to experience something supernatural, to even understand.

Andrea is one of the sweetest ppl I've ever met. We'd been talking on FB for years & then she came to St Augustine FL (I'm close by) and I did a paranormal investigation with her at an old Spanish military hospital. I had the best time! Actually caught an apparition on my phone!

I love your videos in general, but when you interview someone they are beyond phenomenal. I'm so surprised & impressed by this one because I could be wrong but I thought the family almost never did interviews.
