I visited this place today. I met Russell, the caretaker, and took a ton of pictures and videos. I’m thrilled that he allowed us to walk the property and even view all three floors inside the home. I’m thinking of doing a KZfaq video.

The conjuring is still the best horror film in my own opinion😊

The conjuring is one of the best horror films ever known in modern culture. Sequel wasn't great but it was a true story that made it awesome.

Even though this isn't the real house I'd still be scared cause the movie made it scary

I can remember watching the Conjuring with my mom when I was a barely teenager, mid 80’s lost her last year and seeing this brought back k a nice memory with my mom.

Ok so I’m just getting to this video I’m only at 5:07 in but I have to stop and comment because Michael oh my God you were doing such an awesome job with this, the way you showed the real movie panning through the front windows with the family driving up, oh by the way in 1971, the year I was born, then Jessica walking up the same exact way! Sooooooo cool!! I love this!! I watched an interview with the eldest daughter the movie is based on. It was really interesting, she said that she did have a lot of good memories in the home but that the movie didn’t quite go into the depths of what really happened, meaning the movie went low-key which is kind of shocking because the movie was terrifying!! That just means that even more things happened in a much worse way!!! 😱 She said the levitation was absolutely true and it was way worse than the movie reflected! Going to finish your video now. ✌🏻

Being infatuated with houses in horror movies, this was a rare find. I found that the house used in The Conjuring had every element to keep you on your feet. Every room, every corner was just simply creepy. I love this video, and how you two documented it. Everything captured on the outside was perfect and satisfying. Since I live in Canada, it's a long trip to go to N.Carolina just to visit a creepy house, so thanks for cutting off some curiosity for me. One thing I'd like to ask is why you two weren't able to film inside? I read in the comments that there was flood damage, however, was this what stopped the caretaker from allowing you to go inside the house to film due to safety precautions? I would have LOVED to see the inside of the house; every room, every corner, specifically the room where the witch was on top of the wardrobe. Lastly, who owns the house now? Is it part of a management group where they hire the caretaker to upkeep the house? Thanks anyhow for the video, much appreciated!

8:07 That actually happened to me before, too, ...one night, a couple of years ago. I heard a loud bang on my window. I dove had flown straight into the glass. A while later, another dove did the same thing. My dogs got the first bird before I could even run out to help it. The other one died, then and there.

Have you ever been to Enfield? Went to London in 2018 & my driver that was taking me to my Airbnb in East Ham ; drove through Enfield. Right off the bat; super SUPER creepy. He was telling me how that Enfield was mostly families who had low income and what not; we didn’t talk about the movie. There was no time to stop to explore as it was late evening & was running late for my Airbnb check in.

The outside of this house was the filing location, the rest was shot in the studio, the real conjuring house is a home that started as a cabin built in the mid 1700s

If you will think . During the construction of the house there were lots of people there working very busy. Now seems like no one has been there before.
