Outstanding job showcasing South Africa. Also loved your commentary on how quick the naysayers rush to criticize anything to do with Africa but willing to give a pass to the countries you mentioned. Capetown is also a coastal city & it's very cold right now because it is further South, it's windy & the Atlantic Ocean is always freezing even in summer. Don't kid yourself, Durban is not "sunny hot" it's cold af right now because it's winter, it's just not as cold as other places because of the Indian Ocean. The *climate* is generally warm but the *weather* does get cold.

@chirotn2595 Let's pause and think for a second; for every group of people living in a continent that is not of their "origin", there had to be pathfinders of their own people that went there first(forced/freely) . Without slavery and indentured labour there wouldn't be as much Black immigrants in the Americas, there wouldn't be as much Indians in the East coast of Africa and certainly there wouldn't be any white populations in Southern Africa without the 1652s and colonisation. There would also not be as much Black people in Europe without colonisation and the resultant imported labour by the colonists.

@lozi4163

Why you people keep on going with this stupid myth? Is it just stupidity or lack of selfawareness? South Africans are the most traveling migrants and I means of all races simply because we have the most wealthy people in Africa and leading middle class, what you want to say is that, we the least migrating, leaving our country. Learn the difference and stop running with this stupid stereotype that we don't travel because we the most travelers in Africa
@chocon8818
@chocon8818 10 ай бұрын
kingnaldo, you need to clarify what race you are talking about. The White and Indian population travel extensively all around the world and internally. They normally have the income to do so. The black population does not have the money to travel anywhere. Most of them have never been outside of their townships, and when they do, they can only afford to take the bus. Go to any SA airport and all you will see is white faces. Cheap booze and meat keep the blacks content in their townships.

It’s unfortunate that you were in Durban when it was cold. It’s a different vibe in summer.

I was there back in 1989 on leave from the UNTAG mission up in Namibia. I wasn't overly impressed by Durban back then, but I can see much have changed since then. I did love Cape Town though.

1989 Durban wouldn't recognise 2023 Durban. Heck, even 2002 Durban and 2023 Durban are worlds apart. A lot has happened, do visit again.

@@Fenuku_Kwesi not just in a single city, the whole country has a huge population of Indians, in fact the total population of Indians in SA is around 3 million.

Hi Czech, you keep mentioning Cape Town in this video. But I can’t seem to find any Cape videos on your channel. Not from Lonon anyway. Keep up the good work.
