Tanners a joke. Where was he in the eighties when Spurs had so many little firms? Though stories about him over the past year or so have brought a smile to my face.

I am a Spurs supporter and used to go to alot of the matches in the 80's. I loved it. I have just recently read Tanners book Tottenham Massive and I couldn't believe what I was reading. My chin was on the floor most of the time. I never saw that much trouble when I was at the games. Although I did get a bottle in my face from a Man Utd supporter. Me being female and loving football was a problem for my parents,cos they were worried for me cos I used to go to the games on my own.I wouldn't now.

Hi Duke, thanks for the comment. I live in East Anglia now and I have 'gone soft' in me old age living here. Back then nothing bothered me - but I don't even say boo to a goose now lol

Was going to spurs from 74 till now. This guys a joke. Always was! A hippy with a group of lads one game.? The guy jogged off to Palace. Warned off by Spurs fans. A legend in his own mind.

tottenham have always had a great firm. late 80s/early 90s to now days u can now argue sayin we are the best. old bill are hard on us down here 2 and we are still active. look at london we have the best firms, west ham, millwall, chelsea, spurs n luton who are not a bad little firm. we still get meetings. chelsea we take it to them all the time, they dont come here much. but look to seasons ago. we went to their boozer with bats, knives, hockey sticks all sorts. they new we were comin n it k.o

now days i would say best firms, spurs, west ham, birmingham, leeds, boro, united. chelsea and millwall just like most other firms will trun up on their day, cos its not as active as what it was. yea we have had it with liverpool quite a bit up there. they never come down here. everton not much has really happened

i see your an everton fan. i do respect your firm. but spurs and everton havent really had big clashes. if u ask northerners like leeds, man u, liverpool, birmingham and many more they will tell u. trust me spurs are one of the firms on the up. chelsea, our biggest rivals off the pitch, dont always turn up. the only ones who do now days is mainly west ham. and they get a good lesson

yea it has kicked off many times with everton in the 80s and 90s both home and away. but nothing major has happened. like liverpool we would go there and do a pub and big fights broke out. everton nothing much big has happened. but im not tryin 2 say liverpool have a better firm. everton have got good history with the firm and it is better than liverpools

Mid 80's to early 2,000's Arsenal only London firn to bring big mobs to Stoke, Everton and Boro. 2001 FA Cup semis at Old Trafford Arsenal destroyed Yids twice. 1994 Arsenal to this day only English firm to do PSG in Paris. 2000 done big Galatarasay firm in Copenhagen. 1998 done Millwall in Whitechapel and London Bridge station after Fa cup game at Highbury. Top boys from West Ham and Man U said Arsenal were the best London firm they faced. Top boys from Stoke, Everton and Boro said Arsenal were the only London firm to bring big mobs and turn up at their ground. Year after year Arsenal are top 3 with the most arrests at their games in the PL. As i said mate you don't have a scooby but those who know know Arsenal had a game respected firm esp from 1985 - mid 2000's.

Everton face said the only London mobs to turn up at Goodison Park on Merseyside were Arsenal and ironically enough Spurs. Millwall kept Spurs quiet at the FA Cup game at WHL a few years ago.

He is not around that often, hasn’t been for the last few years now, a few lies in his book that upset a lot of Yid’s, Dante smacked him one etc…. Millwall in 2001, he was not even there, we have had a lot of rows with Chelsea, no doubt about that but you lost a lot of respect from what happened at PG, especially that one arm prick using a blade and the rest of the 40 odd mob having weapons, we all have a few that carry but that evening a lot of other firms lost a lot of respect with Chelsea 🤟🏿
