Michael thank you for sharing your story and perspective. I’m a school psychologist in an urban district and I feel as though people like you can be difference makers in their lives. With that said I’m disgusted with the inconsistencies portrayed by Netflix between reality and their storytelling. I feel like there is amazing potential for an honest representation of your mom’s story in a series that is more honest in storytelling and illustration. Thank you for sharing your story. ❤

The funny thing is I went to middle school with Michael. I was a year ahead of him our junior high went from 7th to 9th grade or some odd reason . Anyway for some reason I knew something was different about him when the older guys of a particular background wanted to be around him . Or maybe it is just his personality that gathers people.
