Derrick I have been saying this for decades and nobody listened to me. You could communicate till your blue in the face and if the other party doesn’t care, nothing will change. People will look you In the eye and appear to be listening when they know they are going to do exactly as they please. It starts with really caring and wanting to fix the problems. I have two people like this in my life. I've tried communicating with them both for YEARS a multitude of ways how they've hurt me and they have never comprehended it and always mistreat me and turn it around on me and only recently did I realize that they have never cared and likely never will

the best way to show you care is to step out.

I needed to hear that because my sisters really don't care and all that you are saying is what they are doing to me. The sooner i am content with them not caring the sooner my healing can begin. Exactly, ima make time and room for me and let that anger go for someone that doesn't have me in mind.

I had to literally break it down to him thinking he would understand. Well that was not the case🤦🏻‍♀️ He stayed quiet, and changed the conversation 😮‍💨 I didn’t bother to continue talking to him.
