I just love Bobcat and Gabby. It’s amazing how fast Gabby caught that warthog. When she jumped on Bobcat later, it was almost like she was telling him, I got something you didn’t, lol.

I didn't know Bobcat was 15 years old. He is strikingly fit. As you said his mane is glorious and has the original color. What a specimen. And Gabby...naughty indeed ,but as we see she still has natural instincts and the ability to follow through on them. An honor indeed to be a part of their pride!

Cats (of any species) can live around 25 years... (With the right attention, of course...) While in nature everything is more complex (the life of a male lion medially drops to 10 max 15 years, because plus older he gets and be more difficult for him drive out the coalitions of stranger males, so, if he is defeated, old, alone , wounded, obviously it would be extremely unlikely that he would survive (therefore they reach 25 years only in a protected place and with the right attention, everything is more complex in nature, but after-all this is true for lions as for humans...)

The two of them are 15 and don't look or act anywhere near that age. That's testament to Kevin and the sanctuary. They're so well cared for. I love the MTC series and listening to Kevin talk about the kids ...and of course Gaby brings her "A" game to it.

"Gabby's getting old." Hahaha... guess she showed everyone she hasn't slowed down. She is such a marvelous, lioness. She played, hunted, scoped out the area for intruders, then went to look for her brother, who was totally oblivious to what had taken place. A true Queen!! I think this video deserves to be retitled!

Fantastic start with the Rhino sighting. Gabby going after that Warthog just serves as a reminder to everyone that she is still a wild animal, and she still has those hunting instincts, no messing with Gabby. Bobcat is amazing, the way he looks around to see what he's missed. Bobcat and Gabby are definitely my 2 favourites although I have a love for them all.

Two things Mr. Richardson. One is that Gabby being able to hunt and kill is testament to how well the KRF cares for them, they are truly free as they could possibly be given the circumstances. Two this is a reminder that they are first and foremost wild animals, obviously you respect that and we as viewers/members need to respect this as well. Thank you for posting. Keep up the KRF fantastic work!

It just proves that they are born with the innate capacity to hunt. While, the Sanctuary animals don't need to hunt for food, they still have the instinct.

I don't know Gabby's early history, but she somehow has grown every bit into the lioness she was meant to become in the wild. Probably living longer. Definitely living better. But still with all instincts and skills intact. Tribute to you, Kev, and to all who keep these animals healthy and as wild as possible throughout their longer lifespans. Good job!

Man, Gabby was in full form today!! Amazing. And she is my favourite lioness. Bobcat was magnificient, as always, though we saw less of him. He's tied with Georgie as the favourite lion and in very good company ahaha. Btw, Gabby is NOT too old for that young lion, she would give him a run for his mane 😁😁

WOW! Just saw the section where she caught the hog and that was amazing! I mean we've seen it with Meg and Amy but really just wow! Such great proof that you and this organization still do by these animals right. In the best health possible and never lost their hunting prowess.

Wow, Gabby took down a warthog! I can only imagine how that made you feel, Kevin. It reminded me of Meg and Amy hunting porcupine. Bobcat is as regal as ever, beautiful and confident. Did you have any concerns about that wild lion fouling up the walk? Thanks for a great walk with Bobcat and Gabs!

I got some tension when hearing that the wild Lion was nearby. It could be a catastrophe if he met up with Bobcat as they would fight for sure. Though Gabby would jump in to help him. And if any animal threatened Kevin, I'm sure his Lions would protect him.

@@karherineware3508 there is also still a 8 foot fence (with an electricity fence added) around the entire perimeter so they are safe and away from the wild lion. I use to believe it was all open where they walk but it isn't. The entire perimeter of his reserve is fenced.

Wow, Gabby and Bobcat are still so striking! Yes, the picturesque image of a male African lion usually does conjure Bobcat in my mind. I have been watching you and the lions since about 2006, Kevin when you had your show on TV. Gabby, Bobcat, Meg, and Amy have always been my favorites, and it's great to see them thriving! That warthog kill by Gabby was spectacular and it was a privilege to see it filmed. One day, my fiancé and I will make it to Africa for me to have my goal of seeing wild lions in their natural habitat...

The way the line down her back is darker than the sides of her body shows how beautifully camouflaged she is in the tall grasses. So beautiful. I just adore cats. They are perfectly built for the function of hunting. Even domesticated cats and everything in between they capture my heart.

I never mind when Gabby makes a kill, It's actually amazing seeing her hunting skills in action, like the Lion King says, it's the circle of life. I imagine too as far an enrichment outing goes it doesn't get much better than the old Hunt, catch, kill.

Always amazed by the bond between Kevin and those beautiful creatures, he's really family and part of the pride, and they hunt with him. As showed once again, these lions aren't pets, and their hunting's instinct and capabilities are still intact. Makes their bond even more special.

Gabby is such a pleasure to watch. You really have no idea when she’ll be naughty. But she will, she just can’t help herself 😂 Bobcat is so majestic and is exactly what I imagined what a Male lion would look like in person. Beautiful mane and big and strong with a hatred of hyenas

Gabby is hilariously funny because of her behavior. I love when she sneaks up on Kev and he falls down so graciously. Kev is awesome, and I love his channel and the animals. You learn so much, but I laugh so much. It always feels good to laugh. Dr. Oz used to say, “ laughter takes years off.”❤😂

Wow Kev what an extraordinary treat having seen two white rhino in the bush and then having them turn up at the front door of the sanctuary these special moments are something to be treasured. They're amazing characters the both of them - brimming with personality. That Bobcat though, what an incredibly beautiful lion! That slow stalk - at about 12:40 - was both intimidating and breathtaking. "Captivity" be damned, he is all LION.

Adorable how Gabby's & Bobcat's personalities are actually the complete opposite of one another :) She stands out with how playful & mischievous she is...the men in her life can't keep up lol. The white rhinos are majestic and so stunning, I loved how they approached Kevin and just as naturally turned away in unison, beautiful

Bob IS quite a specimen. I too think of him when I think of the most exquisite example one could find. If ever there were a line to continue, it would be his. Though this day be an exceptional happenstance, I think it be worth wearing that camera on your back when it's time for a Gabby walk! LOL You KNOW it's going to happen hahaha!
